Gavster wrote: Wed Jul 05, 2023 8:48 am I have never seen a cyclist walking through there, and of course, neither have I pushed my bike through them. I think this proves the point about how to deal with cyclists, you simply have to accept they'll do whatever the fuck they want because they feel their entitled and know best and you can't expect them to obey even the simplest and least impacting rules because they feel they can be ignored
My post had nothing to do with being hit by a bike in the Greenwich Tunnel or the fact the cyclist jumped up and raged at me for it being my fault as "I can't walk in a straight line".
Whichever post that refers to, is one missing?

At places like that I'll go round and open the passenger door(s), it's easier for me to see both ways and to be seen by anyone approaching from a distance.
It's lovely there, The Coffee Cup a handy destination followed hopefully by a hovercraft sighting at the other end 8-)

The donut on the bike needs a word with himself.

1) The cyclist is a nobber.

2) That's Kingston Upon Thames which is home to some of the most pent-up, aggressive drivers you'll find anywhere in the country

Everyone involved in that video needs a good solid shoeing, frankly.

Literally 1 second in his blasts past another cyclist with very little seperation. Woman was clearly visible from some way away getting out and walking around the front, regardless of the fact the car shouldn't have stopped exactly there.

These people belong in the same "special room" as the JSO cretins.

Why on earth did he think the car was stopped there? He kept saying the car was "parked" when it was just waiting for the woman to cross.

I'm sure Jeremy Vine will be on to this one before we know it to educate us all as to what the driver did wrong.

No, if you look carefully she got out of his passenger side door, so he should not have stopped on the zig-zags.

I presume the camera was mounted atop his head so likely had a better view than he did. No Samir, but I've got TRIPLE CAUTION!!! in my head now for those...well, on the basis of thriple, thribbers.

Not sure if that makes it worse, if he spotted the women isn’t that all the more reason to slow down.

If it was me, I’d be more cautious of the driver as presumably, anyone dropping off on zigzags is less likely to bother to look before moving off.

But then you can't get attention and clout on the internet for being technically correct, regardless of how dangerous approaching her at high speed and slamming the brakes on is.

Like I said, they all need a shoeing in that video.

The cyclist went round a parked car and stopped in time for a pedestrian to cross.

The car driver stopped on zig zags to drop someone off.

One of those is prohibited and can get 3 points on your licence.
