Cheers - watched it last night. His enthusiam aligns with mine, though I'd definitely go PDK. Still want one, still can't justify it yet.

This one is pretty appealing: https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/det ... ned-905GD7

Prefer the wheels on that second link and actually like the chrome around the windows.

It would be PDK for me as well

There's something about the smaller wheels and very little in the way of options but buying used, I think getting the most options for the money is a good idea.

There seems to be a good saving on first year's depreciation, but tails off thereafter.

Just looked at Porsche's finance and almost Black Horse levels of silliness at 11.9%. Surely most source their own finance!

But not that. :D

Subaru Brumby ;) at play in Aus. Looks like they were having the time of their lives.
I thought it was quite good fun, and had made a decent attempt to hide a lot of the test run tyre marks. Still a lot of the same stunts though and I was getting rather bored of hearing an anonymous 4pot sat bouncing off the limiter continuously.

I prefer this car to the last one they built, but I’d prefer if they looked a bit more like the originals and a bit less cartoony.

Black car with black interior… okay, own up, who’s hacked Jobbo’s login!?

Does it have the weird black controls, which are labelled in black on a black background, and a small black light lights up in black to let you know you've done something?

At least one of them has chrome round the windows 😃
My Audi is a black edition with black paint and black leather so I’m not averse to it at all. If you can’t find an actual colour then it’s a good alternative.

A bit more behind the scenes Gymkhana at Bathurst.

The entrance sequence at the top of the Mountain looks hairier from a distance!

Got the boat over, stopped at Cradle Mountain for a couple of nights then due west and down to Queenstown, east and down to New Norfolk and back to civilisation of Hobart. Just had 4 new PS4s fitted too - amazing drive 8-)
I'm envious, I've had a couple of planned trips to Tassie thwarted although the co-driver will undoubtedly be extremely proscriptive about driving enthusiastically...

Closer to home (assuming you're still in Melbourne?) is the Mt Buller sprint coming in February. I went a decade(s wtf) ago and had fun.

Love the beast great film, must rewatch.
Back in the Uk now 👍

There's a black/black Audi RS6 I've seen on the M6 with a plate that looks like "Jobson". I thought Si had secretly done a swap. Turns out it's not quite the same, so Jobsons clearly have a penchant for black Audi estates.

Every now and again I think an RS4 might be a nice swap but I don't need more performance, I'd miss the economy and they're just too unsubtle and appealing to thieves. So I don't think I'll swap any time soon. As I said to Scott the other day, the only thing like it on sale now is the Merc E400d estate and it's £90k, no more economical, no faster and it's probably not as much fun to drive.

Saw the MCM vid about it - 27 secs per set of tires
