The Royal International Air Tattoo has today been cancelled today due to the orange idiots actions with Iran. RAF Fairford (where it was due to take place) is chokka with B1 and B52 bombers so very difficult to see how it could take place. We were booked to go so disappointed but everything rolls over to next year. No doubt there will be a cost to the charities who normally benefit plus the businesses who normally trade there or provide services

The 30% of the US who can't think critically will think that was very impressive by Mr Trump.
Also, Please Sir President Trump, my SNAP payments were cancelled and the bank is foreclosing on my house, I lost my job around the time your tariffs came in, because of the crooked foreigners.....etc
Maybe we need to rethink eugenics.
Also, it goes without saying that if more reporters made even the slightest attempt at getting within 10% of the pushback she gave, maybe Trump wouldn't be so fucking popular.

Exactly Beany. I think US journo’s are giving him too easy a ride. Sure they’re criticising policy and very politely pointing out correct facts but I do wish people would just be more direct.
“Mr President, that is simply not true and anyone who actually believes that… you included… are fvcking braindead. I mean are you for fucking real you senile old twat. Get a grip - this is serious business, not reality tv for fucks sake”

US press has always been extremely soft on presidents, because they're the COMMANDER IN CHIEF and a lot of the US has a massive hardon for the military.
If more press started saying "But that's not true, Mr President", a few weeks of him storming out of interviews like the spoiled little brat he is - and the press commenting on that - would soon make him look like a complete fucking buffoon to some of the less dense yanks.

I've been following Jeff Tiedrich, he has long, long advocated that "the first reporter to stand up and ask 'what the fuck is wrong with you' should get a lifetime Pulitzer".
Colicky piss-baby melts down, stumbles off the set of Meet the Press
mentally unwell elderly golfer wrote:behind the scenes … I must tell you. [Iran] can’t believe the press they get. they can’t even believe it. and they told me. they said ‘it’s amazing how well we’re doing in the papers. we’re not doing so well—’ they’re negotiating with us to make a deal.
Have we done the Reflecting Pool ? It features all the usual, but yet still somehow surprising, levels of incompetence & fraud. In short...
Having told everyone it would cost $1.8m he gave a $14m no-bid contract to one of his mates who had never held a federal contract before, and isn't even a pool specialist, instead of someone competent. Atlantic Industrial Coatings. Here's their website. Not pools. I guess because donny is a very special boy he needed $10m for himself and his mate wanted $2m to keep quiet about the $10m.
Almost immediately afterwards the water filled with algae. Short reason - they filled it with tap water without treating it first. So then to kill the algae they started dumping masses of hydrogen peroxide in there. Good news - it's an effective algaecide and is nice and safe as it decomposes to water & oxygen. Bad news - it's also a pretty good paint stripper, especially if the paint job was cheap & shitty in the first place, so it's now peeling off in huge chunks.
The regime wins though, for they have stated the water is crystal clear and this is all fake news. Orwell is wishing he had even a fraction of a cent for every time his "eyes and ears" quote gets invoked nowadays
So anyway, the $14m paint job now needs to be completely re-done, except this time they will need to strip all of this crap off first instead of starting from bare granite like last time Which is another thing - the granite is slightly porous and water slowly soaks through, and is topped up with fresh, helping keep it clean. That's how it's always worked. Like a natural lake works. Sealing the whole thing ruins it.
ALL of this is science. But science is woke, obvs, and we don't want none of that.
Little donny bragged this would last 100 years. It barely lasted 100 hours before fcukign up. Utter fcuking moron clown show. As usual.

I love the reflecting pool saga. Did you see Trump comparing the length of the glorified pond with the height of various skyscrapers?

I'd say that the US is currently like Idiocracy writ real, but idiocracy was at least funny and wasn't trying to kill minorities.
