I think Paganis are great too - they're flamboyant and interesting. The fact that Harry's review confirmed it was pretty easy to live with as well seals it - I'd have one before any GMA car if I won the lottery.
I know there is discussion of the Manuale in another thread because it's on multiple channels this week, but specific to Harry's video there were some odd rev flares when he was changing gear manually. Was he not taking his foot off the throttle? He does go on later to say how refined and well developed it is so I don't think he saw it as a flaw, but I didn't like it.
Oh, and it feels utterly ridiculous that he described it as having the best manual change of any Ferrari. I wonder how it compares to Logitech? https://www.logitechg.com/en-gb/shop/p/ ... 941-000322

Re: Harry’s Garage
Oh, and while I think my original prediction that his purchase was a Manuale, I don't think it is now - he clearly loves it but the price premium is a big factor.
Re: Harry’s Garage
I thought he must have been trying to H&T, but either the throttle was a bit sharper than he expected, or the car was trying to simultaneously auto-blip.Jobbo wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 8:44 am I know there is discussion of the Manuale in another thread because it's on multiple channels this week, but specific to Harry's video there were some odd rev flares when he was changing gear manually. I only realised when watching Harry's vid that it's a 6-speed manual, but the box is an 8-speed, with the top two ratios only available when in auto mode. That's really pretty silly in principle, but made moreso by the box governance. Owners will shirley always flip it into auto whenever they are cruising, and are then locked out of manual mode until bring it back down below 70kph/44mph.
Re: Harry’s Garage
I don't think it auto-blips in manual mode, does it?
Agree and disagree with you regarding the 6-sp manual locking out the two top ratios. When driving a manual it's preferable not to have more than 3 planes to shift in - even Porsche went back to 6-sp rather than 7-sp with the 992.2 manual gearbox. So I can see why they'd do it. But because it's not that easy to switch between the two modes and there are no paddles, it does seem somewhat limited.

Re: Harry’s Garage
Apparently not. So I am back to thinking it’s just a clumsy H&T (which is normal when you try it in something you’re not familiar with of course)
Re: Harry’s Garage
Can't find gear ratio info anywhere, but this video (timestamped) appears to indicate that v-max occurs in 7th. Change lights on at 320kph (speedo reading) - 200mph. Need 7th to get the final 11mph.
I accept that's unlikely to be a daily annoyance for the owners who insist on using it in manuel mode only.

Re: Harry’s Garage
I think in Harris' vid they allude to the Manuele having different ratios than the auto car....

Went to look - he does say the Manuale will achieve 211mph in 6th.....Simon wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 12:25 pm I think in Harris' vid they allude to the Manuele having different ratios than the auto car....
