I loved this (apart from the dull F1 bit) and the second episode. Third one is out next week.
It's two Americans who have done plenty of road trip videos over there, coming to Great Britain for a 2 week road trip in cars they bought before they flew over. It's lovely seeing them deal with the UK when they've never been here before, and getting properly into it.

I actually watched both episodes over the weekend after the first one was on my recommendation page having never seen the channel before. Enjoyed them both. Spoiler
Was quite alarmed by the calliper on the Honda! Not sure how you only have one bolt holding it in place. Forgot to put it back or sheered off?
I also quite liked the pub owner in the first episode - looked like he'd had a day at the races and was absolutely hammered

I also didn't want to spoil it but I'll use spoiler tags to discuss it too:
Spoiler
I loved that, being Americans, they landed at Heathrow and headed off using public transport which meant getting back on planes to Aberdeen (fair enough) and Manchester The first experience driving on British roads looked pretty genuine too.
The Honda caliper was amazing. I think I'd have been willing to drive forwards on it for a while still

It's next week, now.
Pretty decent, all in. They seemed to have a laugh and liked the people and places. Decent itinerary too!

I saw the and thought it would be interesting to see how these compare ...I couldn't manage to get through it. Matt Prior is ok with someone more dynamic to bounce off, but TH this isn't.
Just skip to the end for the very blunt conclusion.

I did watch all of that, though I had read the article already in the mag. Ilya is a good writer but I think Autocar have always tried to push their writers into presenting videos and that's a totally different skill and not very fair on them.

Aren't nearly all modern cars 1.9 wide these days? Wouldn't say that was excessive. Fair few over 2m including mirrors.

I don’t know why but I adore the looks of that, I’ll watch the vid at work on Monday but if my lotto numbers come up I’m having one!

Enjoying the Late Brake Show/Yorkshire Car Restoration Rancho (rust heap) vids. Transplanting the body onto an Impreza WRX, in theory.
plus an intro vid on the LBS channel and a follow up to this one has come out where they're taking more bits off it.

I’m interested to watch it progress, but although the wheelbases match, it’s going to take an awful lot of work to make it all fit and look like a standard Rancho, the proportions, bulkhead position, overhangs, door openings, seating positions are all completely different.
There’s going to be so little of the rancho left it’s not going to be as ‘easy’ as just a floorpan swap!
