Again, I think so many are missing the point of this. Don't forget the prototype was a 2 door. This is little more than a 2+2. I think the rear doors are for anyone who just doesn't want to tilt their front seats for the kids to get in the back.

It's a statement vehicle. It's fast, comfortable, and looks brilliant. Simple. Compare it to a DB11, not a FFRR.

if that was the case, they should have made it 2 door or made the rear doors like an RX8. Unfortunately it looks like they were told at the last minute it needed to be a 4 door and they budged it. It looks bodged too and that will be the statement every time you get in and out.

I loved the rear doors on the RX8. Yeah it could be a slight pain that the fronts had to be opened first, but the access they provided made that worth the inconvenience.

Particularly when you factor into it that you'll be looking forward through a letter box and have a tiny digital screen for a rear view mirror. Manoeuvring it must be an absolute pig.
I was beside a London favourite - the Quattroporte today and thought it's quite long so looked up the dimensions

I think the Jag will be ok in London. Not the most practical family car but you can probably fit teenage sized kids in there just fine.
How about not having a sig at all?

I saw someone say Harry had essentially let slip in his other video that the deposit was for a Valhalla?

If it is a Valhalla and he personalises it through Q then it will likely not be "hundreds" of thousands but over a million. Personally it seems like one of the least interesting ways to spend seven figures on an automobile. I'm not sure why but the Zonda having a Mercedes V12 never bothered me (possible because it sounded incredible) but the AMG V8 being used in an 850k car I wouldn't be happy with at all, particularly as it sounds worse in flat plane guise than in normal cross-plane format.

Also, Valhallas were sold out from the factory in 2023 so I don't actually think it is that.

Yes. A statement. Of incompetence.

Which video was that? I thought I'd watched them generally and in the 12Cilindri one he did say he'd buy one. Don't remember him saying that about the Valhalla. And I know he's allergic to depreciation so I think the Valhalla would be a bit of a risk.

I thought he absolutely hated the electronic interface on all of the modern Ferraris. Whether that would be enough to put him off buying one I don’t know.

I think I read it as a comment from someone under the Project 8 video - basically saying 'but you already gave it away last week saying you were buying a Valhalla.'

And I read the Project 8 video as saying the several hundred grand was the deposit necessary, not the whole cost of the car?

He said in the P7 video that he’d already put down a returnable deposit and that the car was a few hundred thousand - that could quite reasonably be Harry downplaying a car for a million or so but not much more than £1m.

I did watch the Valhalla video and while he definitely liked it far more than I expected, I didn’t notice him say he wanted to buy one.

Just more layers inbetween driver and power to the road. Auto trans doing this or that on its own logic, likewise the turbos and E assist.

Simple, manual, NA, great combo. Add the magic of 12 cylinders and huge power and it's probably impossible to better.

Agree 100%.

As the ability of the car has gone so far beyond most drivers then the performance needs to feel more visceral than ever.
