I followed Harry for a bit on the A40 a month or so ago and the P8 looks much, much better in the metal than it does in pictures or videos.

Whenever he exercises that thing along the roads between his house and our village I can hear it plain as day 8-)

Indeed. I saw one in Oxford city centre a few weeks ago and it was CAF. Now I've seen the interior, I don't like it now. Too fussy, too much "design" if you know what I mean.

Yep, the interior design is by far my leat favorite thing about the new Vantage. The quality and materials might be better, but the layout of the old one was much nicer looking IMO.

It’s the air vents, same problem as the DB11 really. Don’t know why the centre air bag retaining part of the wheel is also so thick, it’s like we’re in the 90’s again.

Fully round steering wheels look so much better, it's something that never needed fixing.

Agreed. That squashed lumpy thing in the top pic is vile.

They also don’t feel nice in the hand.

The front end looks rubbish and the steering wheel is horrible. But I still really like it.

Front end looks rubbish, interior is a discordant mess with the sat nav screen from an A-Class, it doesn't sound as good and is more expensive than the outgoing model... what's not to like!

Seriously though, i'd have an old model v12 vantage in a heartbeat over the new one, even were they the same price.

Having seen one in the flesh, I can confirm they are lovely.

Yes its annoying me that I haven't seen one in the metal yet. I primarily want to simply to be able to say I've seen one and still think they've ruined it!

They look fantastic in reality. The questionable interior design is a minor fault in the grand scheme of things.

The muted engine note isn't though. Barely audible in the flypasts in that video.

At least modifying or changing an exhaust is a simple job.
