Yesterday with three mates I did the personalised Morgan factory experience - coffee, 2 hour guided tour which was fascinating, lunch (afternoon tea, very good), then a drive. It was supposed to be an hour but the four of us had 1h30 and we split it across driving/passengering in a Plus Four and a Supersport. Not cheap at £220 per person but it wasn't at all rushed and you felt you got plenty out of the day.
Plus Four: looks old fashioned but bloody hell it's quick. You feel exposed though. Would want some time with it to get confident. Very fast steering, hardly any slack.
Supersport: felt a bit more relaxed, more of a GT but when you nailed it, even quicker, and it had even faster steering. Hardtop was on but it was still loud with wind noise when you got up to speed.
I've spec'd up this Plus Four on the configurator but even being gentle on the options it's £85k.

A Supersport is realistically £130k; a Supersport 400 will be £165k+ - there was one in the factory that looks a bit like this (I added the red interior on this one though)

Saw the new Midsummer Coupe as well.
Took loads of photos so could do a thread on it.

Ooh yes @JonMad - please do a thread. Much of my life I've lived no more than an hour away from the Morgan factory and I've never been. Could cycle there in less than an hour now

@JonMad Does the Supersport look better in the "flesh" than in pics? (I'm not in love with the visuals, but I suspect it's one of these designs that looks better in-person).

I'd say so. The rear looks sharper than the Plus Four, with the longer tail.

I've seen a few Supersports on the road and I think it looks fabulous. It doesn't look retro like other Morgans but it does have a retro vibe. A really clever updating.

As ever JIC is correct. Amazing looking thing 'in the ash'
Here is the one I spotted the other day (repost but who cares, it looks fab):
2015 Evora (same spec as mine). Total mileage is less than mine had when I bought it (2nd owner) in 2016. Average of 750miles per year. (And via the service book images, looks like this has been very consistent year-to-year).
I notice it's wearing P-Zero's - which is unusual as there are better tyres now. Which makes me wonder if they are the originals (?)
Waste of a good car.

V10 M6 with a manual conversion, probably would quickly become a money pit, but thats part of it.

Looks like it sold though, even though a few on TLF reckoned it was overpriced. Market for unusual coloured Evoras is incredibly strong, I reckon that blue GT410 up your way will be gone very quickly.
Only two things I'm not so keen on: the exhaust diameter of too large, they need to be a bit smaller, and the central instrument binnacle. I know that's in homage to the original, but I want it in the usual place.

Agree about the central binacle. Stoopid. I don't think the exhaust tips look too excessive though.
At first I thought "they've not added that much height - it really needs to taper less aggressively to get some decent load space shirley", but when they take look in the back..... I conceded that there does appear to be a decent amount of luggage space.

Even if he helps me squeeze the German Shepherd in (watch out for those teeth mate), I'm not convinced she'd be very happy? And her viewing experience might be a bit like this.
(blimey - that vid is now nearly 20yrs old )
