Driving in Manhattan is never cool. If you're skint and cool you walk and if you're rich and cool you get a town car

If you're going to drive into the city you might as well get something with really firm suspension though.

Saw my first Grenadier this morning, I've got egg on my face now as I quite like it in the metal. It was in white on steelies and all the details that look weird in pictures don't seem to matter irl.

I don't think it really matters - who knows the back story. The owner could be mid way through a tour of the country, visiting every major city and race track, raising money for blind orphans each day and sleeping with super models each night.

Or he could be a fat business man who squeezes into the seats in his Porsche jacket and bounces it down the road to impress the local slags.

Who cares - It's a GT3. GT3s will always be cool.

To be fair, I didn't see much that looked like Manhattan there - more like Brooklyn/Coney Island/etc...

I presume Zed is very specific about manhattan being uncool for cars?

oh, I thought it was a specific comment on Manhattan.

So if you live in a city you can't have a cool car - because you might have to drive it in the city, and that would (for some reason), be something you wouldn't want to do?

What if you live in a quite central location in the city and want to get out? And most people usually can have one 1 permit. And if you live in the city you don’t need a small car because public transport. Might as well have something nice.

It was Shark/Voodoo blue with anthracite wheels and blacked out side windows turning onto Park Ave probably from the Queens tunnel.. considering it’s Manhattan, I’d go more (fat) Wolf of Wall St and less Mary Poppins!
