So is he going to nuke Iran in 3 hours? 😂

Right before the deadline he will say Iran have been in contact and want to make a deal, a beautiful deal, the likes of which etc etc. Then ten minutes later Iran will say he’s talking bollocks and they’ve done no such thing.

And send the whole world back into the dark ages by rendering much of the worlds oil unusable for centuries… (tm Codename The Soldier - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Soldier_(1982_film) )

Probably…

In a weird twist of fate wouldn't that be the best outcome possible for the net zero agenda?

If we only used oil for transportation then yeah - but since we use oil products all over the place, no. It would still be horrific

Yup, he shat his pants.

And entirely unrelated, he chickened the fuck out.

Apparently a developing nation with nuclear weapons developed in secret (No, not Iran - Pakistan!) """"""""requested""""""" that he not start his 'civilisation ending' action.

There's some irony or hypocrisy there (look up who sold iran centrifuges etc), but I'm too tired to work out which. I'd also wager that the conversation wasn't as pleasant as Trump makes out....

According to state media, Iran will only accept the war’s conclusion once details are finalised in line with a 10-point peace plan reportedly submitted to the White House via Pakistani intermediaries.

The list of 10 points, published by Iranianstate media, include a number of conditions the US has rejected in the past. The plan requires:

The lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions on Iran.

Continued Iranian control over the strait of Hormuz.

US military withdrawal from the Middle East.

An end to attacks on Iran and its allies.

The release of frozen Iranian assets.

A UN security council resolution making any deal binding.

In the version released in Farsi, Iran also included the phrase “acceptance of enrichment” for its nuclear program. But for reasons that remain unclear, that phrase was missing in English versions shared by Iranian diplomats to journalists.

It’s hilarious if he’s agreed to this, Iran in a stronger position than before the war. The US to repay for all the war damage. And with free money flowing think of all the lovely proxy wars.

I'm no expert but I can't see this as anything other than a spectacular failure for Trump and the US. I mean he and his mates have got spectacularly rich off the back of this but professionally and personally, for him, it's a shambles.

However, I fully expect him to push for the Nobel Peace Prize for securing peace in a war he started.

Unfortunately, given the narrative will be the failure over the next two weeks, when the cease fire ends and he's managed to get some oil supplies out, he's going to go right back at it again.

No, it’ll be on to Cuba next.

At the beginning of this his objectives were regime change and complete surrender by Iran. The US are having to reimburse them for all the shit they’ve blown up and Iran are now apparently charging $2m a ship to go through the strait now

The Art of the Deal.

I’d be surprised if the ceasefire lasts more than a few days tbh.

Israel hasn’t stopped bombing Lebanon.

Agree, there's no way this is over. Trump has claimed complete victory  in an interview with Sky News. Apparently his phone number is an open secret in DC and he always answers the phone too, hence news sources will call him for quick comments.

We have a family friend who lives in Florida who has just been over to visit. According to them there is still a very large percentage of the population who think the orange idiot can do no wrong, bizarre.

It's one of the most inward-looking countries I've ever known. Many will simply believe that Trump assassinated the Ayotollah, destroyed key military sites and then got a great deal on oil.
