The manual box in the 928 isn't the best and the clutch pedal is offset way over to the left. The auto box suits the car very well and, if you know how to use it properly doesn't give anything away to the manual. Harry complained about the slow pickup from start on his car, that's because it sets off in second by default. If he shifted the box into '2' and booted it, it would set off in first and will hold first until it redlines, then switches to second. At redline in '2' you manually shift to '3' and the box will shift into third and will hold third until you shift to 'D', at which point it'll shift to fourth. You can do this at any time you're driving, so if you're in 'D' on the motorway, you can shift to '3' and it'll drop down a gear for overtaking. I don't like the white wheel - looks like it escaped the Miami Vice studio - but very few people love the lozenge wheel. When I had my 944, the "RS" wheel you've linked to was the one to have. (I think @Marv 's 968 may have that?). My 928 came with a black clubsport steering wheel.
