Could have been SEB breaking his previous record for eyes-closed-driving time?

That was Seb, as I recall. While racing trains or something.

Not sure if any of you follow American sports.... well I do.
Anyway, Rashford deservedly won an award at the ESPN award ceremony.

Definitely the woofiest and most defiant woof
It was the first time I'd seen such a short cut of it so had to post

Re: Randomness
Yeah I saw that. I'd like to say I was staggered but sadly I'm not. WTF is going on?
Re: Randomness
People are realising that despite all the calls to stop racism and everyone telling them racism is abhorrent- that there is no consequences to their actions and can get away with pretty much anything on social media- worst case is they get their account banned so they start up a new one and continue to abuse the same person or move onto someone newSwervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 11:00 pm Yeah I saw that. Re: Randomness
Except that idiot was the one who used his actual name and had the same profile picture on his LinkedIn account so was pretty easy to trace. He’s the Savills employee that’s being investigated.
How about not having a sig at all?

Re: Randomness
But what's the motivation of the SM companies to not be seen to be dealing with this sort of bullshit? Especially when the likes of @mik is banned for sarcastically hoping someone bangs their knee on a drinks trolley ffs. Or @Beany for calling someone a cunt.*jamcg wrote: ↑Tue Jul 13, 2021 7:27 amPeople are realising that despite all the calls to stop racism and everyone telling them racism is abhorrent- that there is no consequences to their actions and can get away with pretty much anything on social media- worst case is they get their account banned so they start up a new one and continue to abuse the same person or move onto someone newSwervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 11:00 pm Yeah I saw that. *tbf maybe they were just looking for any excuse in Beany's case
Re: Randomness
I was quite nasty on Twitter when the urge took me, in fairness
Re: Randomness
Because for everyone saying "maybe we should be doing something about all the racism and abuse on social media" you have some numbskull saying that free speech should be absolute. Ultimately both are seen as equally as important for the company because all they care about is engagement so they can harvest data to sell. They're amoral.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Tue Jul 13, 2021 10:14 amBut what's the motivation of the SM companies to not be seen to be dealing with this sort of bullshit? An absolute unit
Re: Randomness
What's the back story with that (assuming there is one)?
