The in cockpit view is nowhere near as cool as I should be, those A pillars give a distinctly old school 4:3 ratio out the front.
They're huge, and it must be fine to drive, because of the lap time. But the video makes it look like they'd massively get in the way of the drivers field of view. Maybe I'm thinking of a road car, where it's important to be scanning side to side, rather than a race car where it's mainly straight ahead.

Not even designed for racing or being driven around any sort of other traffic, just pointing up a hill or round a track as fast as possible.
I find it interesting from a technical point of view, but I don’t want one.

I'd love to drive one round a track. I did notice though that it used 1 bar of battery on the relatively short Top Gear Track and there's only 10 bars total so you'll get an in lap, out lap and 8 push laps before you have to go back to your support lorry, turn on the biodiesel generator and have a lie down for an hour whilst it charges.

@Mito Man To be fair, I'm not sure any of us could handle anywhere close to 8 laps in that thing - it look brutal.
Good to see and compare times with the wide range on the leader board but by 'eck are the vids irritatingly edited
Re McMurtry visibility, it'll be interesting to see how the road one differs.

You may well know a chunk of this but it's worth watching to the end;

Lovely to see cars like Dario's Ferraris with stone-chips on the front bumper.

I really enjoyed the Dario LBS episode.
That Tolls as a winter ski car is a brilliant choice.

Even if you don’t care for Throttle House, you must watch the first couple of minutes of this:

TH are one of the few actually decent car YT reviewers IMO, especially as they actually understand how to present.

There's no way I'd replace my S6 with the new generation cars - those buttons are horrible. And the exterior looks have softened. Might look better with decent alloys though; the ones on that are horrible.
In the thumbnail, the rear end where the wider rear arch and tail meet looks like rolls of flab.

Driving autotest after four pints and seven whiskeys. Back when they were still trying to prove that drinking and driving is dangerous
