It's impressive how quickly Trump forgets about his 'best people'
Following Kent's resignation, the White House dismissed his letter, saying the president had "compelling evidence" that Iran was going to attack the US first.

Trump later rebutted Kent's claims, saying he was a "nice guy" but that it was a "good thing" he was out of government, adding that he always thought Kent had been "very weak on security".

Kent, a long-time Trump supporter who unsuccessfully ran for Congress twice, was nominated by the president early in his administration and confirmed to his post in July 2025.
Genuinely the dumbest cunt alive.

Uber-narcissist.

Demands absolute loyalty, yet offers absolutely zero in return. I’m baffled that so many remain under his spell.

Similar narcissists with small dick syndrome who hang on to people they think are powerful and strong.

Alas, because they're fucking morons, they think that's Trump. But he's a racist who spends too long looking at fourteen year old girls, just like them, so he's their guy.

I missed this yesterday. Sat with the wife watching the 10pm news I said "she's just checked her watch and looks desperate to get out of there. She looks well.pissed off as well."

Wife then tells me what he said and my jaw hit the floor. Even for Trump that's a pretty fucking retarded new low.

Everyone should be shocked that any head of state would say such a thing, but with Trump it's just another disgusting comment to add to the very looooong list.

He is teetotal but it could be other substances or more likely at his age, a water infection.

Former FBI chief who investigated Russian interference when Trump was first elected is dead.

Trumps statement - “I’m glad he’s dead…”

I know it’s another day, another massively unacceptable statement but we have to keep talking about it. It can never become normalised

He's not even trying to be subtle anymore about using is position of power to make his mates rich

Yesterday - "We're going to obliterate Iran" - Result Markets tank

Today - "We're going to have a 5 day ceasefire amid constructive talks" - Guarantee there'll be a market rebound

the SEC would be all over this if he hadn't fired them all and install his own puppets to allow him to facilitate the greatest financial swindle every perpetrated and risked bankruptcy on half the world to facilitate it

From the BBC:

Huge financial swings follow Trump statement

Markets have reversed earlier moves after Donald Trump said the US and Iran had had "very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East".

Brent crude has fallen 13% to about $96 a barrel. The FTSE 100 index is now up 0.5% having fallen more than 2% earlier.

Gas prices have fallen from 159p a therm to about 139p.

The yield on 10-year UK government bonds, which had risen to 5.121% earlier, is now down to 4.89% - which is lower than at the start of the day.

Polymarket is suspicious too. Trump Jr invested in it and another prediction betting company called Kalshi. And that stuff is far less risky as it doesn’t come under the influence of the SEC.

trump has just announced a 5 day ceasefire with Iran.

Well, sort of. If you count stopping something that he wasn't doing in the first place as a ceasefire..

"I HAVE INSTRUCTED THE DEPARTMENT OF WAR TO POSTPONE ANY AND ALL MILITARY STRIKES AGAINST IRANIAN POWER PLANTS AND ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE FOR A FIVE DAY PERIOD"

I know it'll never happen, but I would pay to see Trump deposed or on the witness stand, under oath...
