Even for a fake, Mito, that is fucking awful.
On the question of accuracy, Rich B is right (much though it pains me, on a philosophical level, to admit this...). Quartz for the win, and thermocompensated quartz for the ultimate win. I’ve timed a TC movement across a year, and found it gained fewer than seven seconds in 370-odd days. Absolutely incredible.

Can I suggest a quartz watch. It’ll keep time.
Imagine this on a NATO strap. Indestructible.
I honestly have an FW91 on a red and blue NATO

Hey it was an upgrade from the crap rubber G shock I had before it
Surely computer FTW - although not all computers are made equal. My Apple Watch hasn’t lost or gained a millisecond in nearly 3 years.
https://www.lifewire.com/apple-watch-th ... ece-156700 the bit about the crystal compensating for temperature is actually clever.

20 year old Casio Wave Ceptor for teh accuracy win. Atomic clock updated via the radiowaves. The sweep hand matches what the talking clock says - always. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside

I can make my peace with that.

It’s good because the moulded strap was far too smooth where it met the watch - that one has some nice edges to catch which increases the chance of snagging it and breaking a spring bar massively. Perfect.

Do you drag it face down behind you everywhere you go?
I think we've established one clear (pun intended) benefit of expensive watches - scratchproof crystals!

Can everyone else see Dave's Casio on a NATO? The pic doesn't show up on my PC or phone.
