Jajajaaaa 8-)

With the tyre sizes, maybe they started with TRX?
They did - I think the Testarossa fronts may be the same size TRXs as my E34 535i wore. Whatever, even if you could buy them (Longstone didn’t seem to have any in the 3 or so years I owned it), they’re both expensive and shit.

Hoovie also had to replace his Rolls Phantom alloys because you couldn’t fit anything other than the NLA Michelin PAX tyres to them due to the shape of the rims.

And he's now sold/returned the TR due to a fucked up title

Surely that something you check before you buy... unless it is all an elaborate set up?

A Pembleton Supersport and 997 GT2-RS just went passed. The Porker was flying! 🙌 Three wheeler leant so far over as it turned, I thought its wheel had collapsed! Looked like they were both having fun though, just at opposite ends of the spectrum. 😎

Gallardo Performante Spyder in yellow, had the roof down for plus points, parked on double yellows on a corner for minus points.

E9 in a green/grey colour on a N plate, looked like a good original rather than a pampered resto.

Espace Quadra on a G plate, had a uniform matt patina (probably because their time was/is spent on the gubbins underneath) and was carrying a bit of weight so not being given an easy life. I can't think of the last time I saw an Espace of similar age on the road, nevermind a Quadra (if I ever have seen one).

Made me LOL.
As above.

It looks like a TATA design study for a Bangladesh suv.

Dave!

Bentley Continental GT convertible in camo going the opposite way on the M20.

I don’t know why they still bother with the camo for the convertible which will look the same as the coupe anyway, it just draws more attention to itself.

Chap near me out maintaining his GT-86 that I found out today that he races in various series, inc Toyota Sprint Series. Coolest feature - electronic suspension adjustment from a remote control on the dash, that he uses whilst racing to adjust on a corner by corner basis
He told me he used to race a 1000bhp Evo before this.

Those of you who have me on FB/Twitter will have seen these already but I thought worthy of sharing nonethless. Spotted this wonderful old machine creep into my biker café amongst all the bikes. Quietly spoken old gent clambers at so I wander over to get a closer look.

He saw this car at Earls Court motor show back in the day, and loved it, vowing he'd own one "one day". It then spent three years in the UK before being shipped to Zimbabwe for whatever reason, where he happened to be by that point. He bought it and has had it ever since!

2.0 flat six 911T. Cheesy but it's great when I get to chat to random people like this, he was happy to talk about his car too, rather than about himself.

Extremely cool. Position of the hole for the torsion bar means its one of the better handling long-wheelbase cars and 2.0 engine must mean its a '69 model before they moved to the 2.2l engine in 1970. I thought they'd moved to the Fuchs wheels by that time but maybe as this was the base model it wasn't a standard fit but still optional.

AA Zimbabwe sticker is ace :D

ETA: just checked the DVLA file and its a '68 - must be late registration that year and a 69MY. Registered in the UK in November 2010 so exactly the same time as mine

A saw an Enzo a few days ago, couldn’t quite believe it as it’s been years since I last saw one outside a car show. Best looking and most desirable Ferrari for me.

No pics because I was on my bike but there was some kind of braying cocks pistonheads cruise/wankathon in Suffolk yesterday, highlights being a new Alpine and... a Lotus Carlton no less!

A DeLorean

Heading from Bendigo to Heathcote. Spotted something coming towards me that was very flat and very low. I was pressing on so couldn't judge if it was over 141.6kmh or not.

I've pretty sure that's the first time I've seen on on the road, certainly very surreal in rural Victoria, Aus!

New Aston Martin Vantage, in white - I can't remember the last car that underwhelmed so much in photos only to look absolutely sensational in real life!!
