Decent car YouTubes
Re: Decent car YouTubes
I got to the first WHAT A THING and then just clicked off.
Never realised quite how much that phrase is starting to get on my tits.

Probably not the wisest move for the camera dude to show the speedo. Over 200kph at one point.....

Re: Decent car YouTubes
I get the feeling he likes it.
Re: Decent car YouTubes
Different world over there and I don't think his missus counts as the camera dude. Police give permits for stuff like that around Maranello in exchange for dinner and vino
It looks fabulous but I can't comprehend 830bhp on the road.

His missus is called Andrew?

His wife has transitioned and is now calling himself Andrew, and is now saying he’s his son?!
Wow, some families are more complicated than others….

I really enjoyed that, the spirited driving following the Purosangue

Really enjoyed this vid - taken from a great angle.
Oliver Solberg in a MkII Escort. (It's a year old but I haven't seen it - hopefully I'm not reposting
)
1. Nearly stalls it on the start line. So difficult to get it moving.
2. Cresting the hill at 1min30 I instinctively held my breath, and didn't even realise that I had done so until I breathed out about 7 seconds later
3. I prefer the daytime footage.
4. (I found it) very interesting that - whilst he regularly deploys left-foot-braking - he doesn't generally bother to heel&toe his downshifts.

I dream of seeing one of these in the metal. Absolutely bananas and I love it.
The quartered 308 mule car is almost as cool and a RWB meets Prancing horse way.

I was never convinced by the super-wide-rear styling and the heavy inset of the rear wheels (I'm amazed at his comment that the rear is only 3" wider than a Countach), but have always been kinda fascinated by it. That video was excellent - some great research & insights.RobYob wrote: Fri Mar 07, 2025 3:47 am I dream of seeing one of these in the metal. Absolutely bananas and I love it.

So many reasons it could have been a success.

*have listened via a small speaker only - I should play it through the stereo before making final judgement.

I drove a BDA powered mk1 Escort rally car from Chesterfield to a test at Blyton circuit. What a horrible experience on the road

Ridiculously lucky to end like that really!

There is a video floating about of the original designer having involved his kids in the business and he has a lot of parts to build a new car and to keep the others running.mik wrote: Fri Mar 07, 2025 8:27 amI was never convinced by the super-wide-rear styling and the heavy inset of the rear wheels (I'm amazed at his comment that the rear is only 3" wider than a Countach), but have always been kinda fascinated by it. So many reasons it could have been a success.ALthough I think the in-car footage at the end is the first I have ever seen of a CZ16 - unfortunately that powerplant doesn't appear to be fabulously musical*

Considering the age of this thread, this one is probably a repost (apols if so). Seen this chap’s occasional output last few years but recently got into it properly. He’s very entertaining.
