Re: Today’s want
The rear arches on the Racing Puma didn't have PPF as standard so the stone chipping was terrible

Always good to show your sale vehicle in a cloud of its own smoke.

Was that not just* sold?
* In the last couple of years? But I'm 50 now so that might be anywhere between 2 & 10 years.
Cheers,

Re: Today’s want
It was sold after being driven by Jonny Smith and a few others, then 'restored' with the Rolls Royce grille added and colour changed to grey. Not sure if it changed hands again after that but I know it was marketed for sale - not sure if it did actually sell again so this may be the second owner's final attempt to get rid of it?
Ah, seems to have sold at auction in Nov 2025: https://www.historics.co.uk/auction/lot ... 18461&sd=1
Wonder if it did actually sell then?

Seems expensive, not sure i see the value in paying £20k more for a manual box on a cruiser Ferrari.GG. wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2026 3:16 pm Would you dare?

Re: Today’s want
Yes - they had it up for £113k I think and have slowly been reducing. My worry would be the fact that they said this car was "developed" over 9 months or something so clearly it was the guinea pig for a 599 conversion for the company that did it.Rich B wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2026 3:30 pmSeems expensive, not sure i see the value in paying £20k more for a manual box on a cruiser Ferrari.GG. wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2026 3:16 pm Would you dare?

It does make sense though as the single clutch automated manual on that era of Ferrari is reportedly not great (though I imagine still much better than a F355 era F1 box). Also not sure I'd class it as a "cruiser" if you've seen Harris' CHOC video on it (which I go back to regularly...)!
Grigio is the colour for one of these IMO so I'd probably pay a few thou more for that in any event.
