Makes Messner’s solo summit in 1980 all the more impressive. He was the only person climbing on any route and the only other person on the mountain was his girlfriend down in base camp on her own
what was it like when you made it up there?

I see the FIA applying their rules fairly as ever . Swear randomly and it’s a slap on the wrist or community service by watching Formula E. Swear at Pirelli and you’re done.

Easy to get blasé about these FPV drone vids now - but some impressive skills here.

Well worth spending a morning there anyway, and get an AMG driving experience whilst you're there, then finish your day at the Brooklands Museum next door.

Thats not Brooklands Mercedes World (which I have been to - including hooning C63s around the circuit).

That museum made me buy my 300E, I wasn't really into Mercedes before I visited
