Yeah - I don’t recall seeing any wild driving in any of the JayEmm vids I have watched.

I’ve just been reminded that Guntherwerks exists. This is my restomod 911 of choice.

Christ there are a lot of companies doing this kind shizzle at the moment :?

I lost interest in that vid a little around 6mins when they started talking about the lbs/bhp numbers (whilst excitedly pointing at each other). I didn't hear them stating a top speed (possibly as that was stated in a section I skipped) but it must be in the order of 0.01 seconds per yard - which is under 0.37 seconds per INCH!

It sounds fab though. 8-)

These always look like they've been over-inflated by a few 100psi therefore I'm out.

I watched this and couldn't help wondering what the point of that video was, other than generating likes and views off the back of it. Unless he was directing him to "do a big skid mate" and he's trying to generate some faux concern or get ahead of a future revelation, but that doesn't really seem very him.

It came across very cringe to me. I hope the guy is ok but it sounds like he was the author of his own misfortune.

Yeah, I’m not a huge fan of the channel anymore tbh. I used to like it more when Matt Farah was covering his own projects. This was supposed to be a reply to @mik

I was about to post something about why I didn't like it, then read your comment which perfectly says what I was struggling to articulate.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't I guess? We all know how small the car community is and how many internet detectives there are on certain forums, so I guess he was just trying to get ahead of things?

He's clearly a very genuine guy making videos out of his love for cars so I don't for one minute think there's any other motivation to it other than he felt he should do it. I see he's also dropping his paid content option and did a very honest video about it where he said he didn't need that extra money now and felt people could be spending it on creators not in his position.

I even threw in a miscalculation and was hoping to be called out - a velocity of 0.01 seconds per yard would be 0.00028 seconds per inch.

The fact nobody noticed probably cements the point I was making though

Your maths are off. Go check your numbers.

Stupid, and not in a good way.

Maybe if it wins Lemans it'll be slighlty (very slightly) less stupid.

The LFA chase car looks better, sounds better and wouldn't force you to pre-plan every route.

Chris does a HM style road trip. Disappointing lack of paper maps and I think I prefer Harry's 650S

I still think the 458 looks stunning from most angles but also a little bit too short and weirdly proportioned from others.

Great that Chris Harris is back doing more videos like this.

Did I imagine that 458 prices were below £100k at one point?

I predicted (to myself) that they’d Shirley be on the rise at some point due to being the last NA model before the 488 took over.

Last time I looked, 30-40K examples were about £120K so its not beyond the realms of possibility that they had dipped down to those levels?

I liked the 458 when it came out but the 488 looks better and is generally a more appealing ownership prospect imo.
