Can't see anything about Noem yet. Bovino is to leave Minnesota but the Guardian only says he has been 'stripped of his title' so I don't think he's actually been demoted, just relabelled.

That's as far as I can see too.

The Noem one I saw yesterday but it doesn't seem to be published today - Probably just speculation that was removed once proven to be incorrect.
There's a lot of that going round...
Edit - this was the report:

Not quite a demotion to be fair but still...

On a slightly more serious note, I'm seeing Trump's rowback on Minnesota as potentially quite good news for reasons beyond the obvious.
I think it means he's had a big fat fuck off from the stooges he's put in charge of the military. Something I also suspect was behind the spontaneous and unexplained about-face over Greenland.
My thinking is this: nothing in public opinion would have made him turn around. He was hell-bent of doubling down forever and blaming Waltz, Antifa, Somalians, or the fucking boogieman. No, something spooked him.
Two days ago, Waltz called in the Minnesotan National Guard. They are under state, rather national control. The next predicted step was for Trump to seize command and control of that National Guard (which he is entitled to do). Had that happened, the National Guard would have been left with a choice of complying - which would have led to actual soldiers protecting ICE, and therefore ICE getting even more lairy, or refusing. I think he tried and they refused. His next move would be to order the active service military to step in to bring the Minnesotan National Guard back into line, but I strongly doubt that even his yes-men would say yes to pitching fully armed American soldiers against other fully armed American soldiers.
So, maybe he tried and got told to fuck off, or maybe someone warned him that *if* he tried he'd get told to fuck off. Either way, getting told to fuck off and facing the public humiliation of both getting slapped down and everyone knowing that he *didn't* really have control of the military would be too much for his little toddler heart to bear.

Those pesky citizens just wouldn’t fight back and kill a brownshirt, i mean “ICE officer”. How is Trump going to justify sending in the military otherwise?

That, and if he'd set the army against the national guard, he'd have been the one to start a 'civil war', and that goes against the narrative of agitator terrorist furries and trans youths being the cause of all of americas problems.
The self control of Minnesotan people has been astonishing, given the open provocation and slandering of them, including the people his brownshirts have executed in the street.

It’s been a hard watch, some of their behaviour has been absolutely vile. Not just the shootings, but general threatening and intimidating behaviour, ramming civilian vehicles to get them to stop etc.
They’ve been caught out by their own desperation to paint those opposing ICE as the bad guys that they didn’t count just how many different angles and how quickly footage that no one with a brain could deny that they had to change their tune.
The first one in the car they could almost show as trying to use the vehicle as a weapon (but even that was a bit of a stretch) but the latest one, with so many angles showing exactly what happened that was impossible to do.
To the point that republicans started saying it wasn’t ok for him to be carrying a gun, then the NRA getting upset at things the president said.
It just seems mental how divided left and right are, that both sides will completely ignore what they’re seeing and stick to what they’re told because a republican told them.
It took an unarmed ‘good guy’ getting publicly executed for a few to start ‘doing the right thing’ and realise wrong is wrong whichever political side you’re on.

I see reports that Noem has posted publicly that "Everything I’ve done has been directed by Trump and Stephen Miller".....

Yeah, that didn't work out well historically, and quite frankly, the results should be the same today.

Trump JR, amongst others, now sharing an obviously Ai video of Alex supposedly spitting at and kicking the tail light off an ICE vehicle to try and paint him as some sort of thug.
Disgusting.
Even if it was real, are they trying to suggest that is a good reason to be executed in the street?

My primary thought on these ICE shootings is that trained Police officers the world over face far more dangerous situations than these ICE offices have, and somehow the Police don't end up shooting people in the face/10 times while they're on the ground
And especially in the US, Police are continually faced with criminals who are either known to be, or suspected to be armed, or who are using vehicles as a weapon
