Shame for Lando, was having a great day until that point. Hopefully they can get the car fixed.

Norris and Russell both put in fantastic performances in quali. Shame that it didn't end so well for Norris.
Glad that we've got two young Brits who within all likelihood give Verstappen and LeClerc a run for their money in the future when Hamilton eventually retires

Perez has crashed on way to grid, smashed front suspension so won’t be racing

Safety car start
Is it the start or just the formation lap?

Formation which as long as I can remember always leads to a few laps under the safety car at which point it’s usually dry enough to immediately rush in for inters. Let’s see what happens this time.

Not long now before it’s neutered.
Barriers being moved back for next year. Seems sensible.

Spa spent a few years repeating that they can’t move the barriers any more due to the geography of the region but suddenly they’re able to now. Hmmm. Guess they just didn’t want to spend money until forced to.

The rain is just as bad now, they should have just started it as originally planned. Feels like a dodgy ruse at this point to complete a minimum number of laps so they don’t refund the spectators.

Well they’ve done 2 laps now so his best bet is a red flag!
