If I had more time I'd like to take a look at this. Ratty looking but well maintained nice spec 997.

You can't be sure from the photos but I suspect a pdr guy would work wonders with that.

ETA originally advertised at 24950

A guy from my work has been banging on about these for months but I assumed it was another piece of UK automotive vaporware.

I really like it. Would have for cutting about my estate if I become landed gentry.

Want one of those! iirc I saw one at the Farnborough EV motor show thing. Looked massive close up.

Still look pretty funky. I suspect parts supply may be challenging…

Stats are still impressive - quick enough to set your hair on fire.

Think I’d get a lot of satisfaction from doing this! 😂

Think the battery would run out before it did half his lawn.

@IanF That's lovely. 8-)

(Although my dream-garage 928 would be a manual GTS with the wider arches. Wibble).

Damn I'm trying to find some weldmesh on facebook marketplace and it keeps distracting me with cool cars :lol:

Cortina pickup with a supercharged Essex V6, which is an awesome engine choice for a hot-rod style Ford.

i like the look, except the random awkward roof rack and oddly positioned fuel tank. Was there really no better position for it?

I’d bet the bed doesn’t have a floor. They would’ve cut it out to fab the rear end, then covered it and called it done because they got lazy :lol:

Ahhhh I was wondering wtf was going on, and why it had a raised load bed at the back. Hadn’t considered it would simply be easier than all that metalwork to shape something around the transmission; axle, tubbed arches etc

Yeah Jaguar IRS was a fairly common swap in UK hot rods but it takes up a lot more space than a straight axle and leaf springs. Should drive pretty well though.
