Stick your space saver on and take it to a tyre fitter. Don't drive it flat.

It'll be fine.

End of conversation. ;)

They just screw in. Long nose pliers will tighten it. I used to have a screwdriver that did it.

£1.69 will furnish yourself with one.

Sticking some washing up liquid in the valve will tell you if it’s leaking.
Cool, I'll give that a crack tomorrow.

I need to look at replacing the Evora rear tyres at some point, but what I did notice is how much they're stretched over the 9.5 width rear. I've never been a fan of the stretched look, I prefer it to look "square" like it does on the front - plus it leaves the rim really exposed to minor curbing. Not that I'll mess with the status quo, but I did find it 'mildly interesting'

They don't look stretched, just looks like the shape of the rim protector band.

What size are they?

Different males can look very different on a wheel for the same given size depending on the shape and style of the sidewall.

I think Matt’s runs 265/35/19 on the rear?

The “Design” wheels on mine are also 9.5” width, 275/30/20 as standard, but the previous owner had fitted 285/30/20 MPSS to mine as it is the oem fitment on the Evora400.

They're 255/35, so quite a bit narrower than Mik's for the same wheel width.

The shot isn't a great angle, and the rim protection does make it look worse, but the front's look as they should. I could fit wider rears I suppose, but due to my extreme driving capabilities I could upset the balance.

Fronts are 9inch tyres on an 8inch rim, rears are 10inch tyres on a 9.5inch rim. That half inch makes all the difference.

Mik, any change of a picture of your rear rim?

Matty's rim protection isn't protecting any rim, the tyres look 10/15mm short of girth.

Replaced the worn rear pair MPSS with PS4 on Friday. Levels of grip much improved #surprisesurprise.

Ordered via Blackcircles and fitted at ATS who did a tidy job (they didn't fuck anything up!).

Nice rim shot, Mik.

That's how it should look. Not convinced I want to fuck around with the tyre sizes just for the look - although it's interesting to see how many on TLF are complaining about curbing the rear wheels due to how exposed they are

That, plus a 275/30/19 is £50 a tyre more than a 255/35/19. I'm not made of money.
