My comment was only in reference to a scenario where they were both ill and made the decision to travel to his parents rather than bring his sister(s) to London to look after the child. I am pretty sure you are young but generally when I was younger, if a politician was found to be up to nonsense and got caught they tended to resign. It is a more recent phenomenon to just brazen it out supported by a partisan press. Not a welcome one either.
