I enjoyed it for the cars, great to see some old quirky French tat, but yeah. It was pretty wank.

The car bits were actually fine, even the scripted banter is ok - but I find the gags to be getting weirder though. They set up these huge elaborate set ups, then almost pre-empt that the punchline will be a bit shit, so instead they just tail off without resolving it. It's really odd.

Latest one is out. Entertaining enough. But probably, enough now lads.

Jame's crash looked "unplanned".

It was a nasty crash alright. Not sure what speed he was doing but he got off quite lucky considering it hit on his side. The incarnation footage looked pretty violent.

I enjoyed it, rest of the family loved it, so there's clearly still an audience for it. I do wonder if they just played the whole thing straight, how it would go down...

I enjoy these, the gags are daft but that's part of the fun. My lad who is 11 finds it funnier than I do, its great to watch it with him giggling away.

Was I the only one looking at v8 RS4s on auto trader?

I thought it was pretty good, the tunnel stunt was pretty stupid though - they should have just left the lights on.

How many episodes is this series or was that it?
Frankly Top Gear and Grand Tour are a bit of joke with such little content they put out.

What was the tunnel thing? I’ve seen the crash, but not what they were trying to do which led up to it and doubt I can be bothered to watch the episode.

They just do one off specials now I thought, no more series. I watched it over the weekend and enjoyed it, the whole sub base bit was a bit strange. I couldn't work out if they just went into that area without anyone challenging them..?

Seeing the old RS4 did make me think back to really wanting one when I was younger. Might have to have a look on AutoTrader at them now.

Dark tunnel to see who could get the highest top speed and stop before the end and manage to stop. James obviously over cooked it and ended up slamming sideways into the cave wall. Looked pretty nasty to be honest.

Was Eurocrash ever discussed in here? I opened Prime Video last night, realised I’d not watched it so turned it on. Oh dear. Probably the least interesting thing they’ve done. Ruined by May’s choice of car to a certain extent.

As Tim said last time: enough now lads. I don’t think I’m going to watch the next one. I imagine their viewing figures will be declining so who knows how many more Amazon will commission?

I got excited and thought you were talking about Eurotrash, then I was immediately disappointed :(

Oh, wouldn't it be so much better with Jean-Paul et Antoine, with voiceovers from Maria McErlane!

Yep, watched it last night, it was everything I'd hoped it would be, silly, car-based nonsense with those three and honestly, I was really quite sad at the end. They're the best presenter trio there's ever been on TV, absolutely unrivalled camaraderie.

There's a trend on TikTok where people post clips and pictures from their adventures and refer to Clarkson, Hammond and May as our 'TV Dads', which is brilliant, and a massive compliment.
