Shit old VW with a roof rack ? Standard "scene" nonsense surely ?
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Spotted last night - a tractor reversing up the on slip for the M5 northbound at J7. Bit odd; I almost thought he was trimming the hedges alongside the road at first but I think in fact he had gone the wrong way. Probably better to reverse than to carry on down to the main carriageway I guess.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Been meaning to post this one... I know technically dealership spots are not allowed but I think this is the first one I've seen - dealers and car shows included...

Is this the meet in Barrington, Duncs? I was chatting to a colleague from work who was there in his Bentley the other week. He mentioned he saw a near miss collision between a Tesla and a Ford Model T, which would have been interesting on the insurance!duncs500 wrote: Wed Aug 02, 2023 7:17 am Isuzu Vehicross at the local car meet. There was lots of more obvious stuff there, but I thought this thing was kinda cool. Sounded way better than you'd think too.

Spotted an Ineos Grenadier in Italy around lake Como. It really seems to handle well, virtually no roll and looks quite imposing among traffic.
Also saw an absolutely bug splattered filthy Caterham with a fly screen and helmeted owner coming across the Swiss border on U.K. plates.

Not that one, this meet is in a village called Weston near Hitchin / Stevenage.Explosive Newt wrote: Thu Aug 10, 2023 9:30 amIs this the meet in Barrington, Duncs? There was one 50yds down the road from the house we stayed in, in Hovås, Gothenburg. So they seem to be getting around!V8Granite wrote: Thu Aug 10, 2023 9:55 am Spotted an Ineos Grenadier in Italy around lake Como. Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Bloody hell I wouldn't want to squeeze a Grenadier around some of the roads around Lake Como, was enough of a squeeze in my tiny 6 Series.
How about not having a sig at all?

I still remember arriving at night at Lake Como and following a Suzuki hatchback (not a "sporty" model either) on some of the roads around the lake and through the outskirts of the towns. I was in my E46 M3 and was struggling to keep up!
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Saw a new M2 in that really pastel blue colour. Looked much nicer than the photos actually, I liked it.

A few Citroen Meharis, 2CVs, Renault 4s and 5s in France (obvs) in the last couple of weeks. And a Renault Talisman, which must have only been sold in France. And a Simca Ranch (not Rancho). Can dig out the pics if anyone is interested.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I've mentioned before that my first car was a 2CV, I've no desire to own another but a Mehari would be a cool summer runabout. Pics of those are welcome

They were everywhere in warm bits of Europe on the late 80s / early 90s!
Had started to thin out noticeably by the early 2000s. Cool there’s still a few around

That grey R32 GTR on its original alloys looks amazing as ever. Bet that’s a valuable thing now.
