Hope it does so. Compared to other auto manufacturers Tesla true p/e value puts the price at under $50. He's lied and lied and lied about FSD for a decade to push the share price up and now it seems like people can finally see that the emperor actually has no clothes on.
This was the result of a court case brought by investors a while back
His defensive was that we can't take him seriously
And it worked, Musk won the case

So long as that keeps going until I get full fibre installed, I'm a firm supporter of his

Although even Space X is getting very worrying as to the reliance on him as a single supplier of internet to personal and business users who can't get a decent connection by traditional methods.

Just have to look at how he’s threatened Ukraine’s starlink access to see the future there. Those ppi contracts were being investigated by USAID as they believe that Musk broke the terms. Which is another weird coincidence considering what’s happening to them now.

I mean, he was already an illegal immigrant, but it's OK because he's a white one with money behind him.

It’s the American way, where being rich is the ultimate goal regardless of what a shitty person you have to be to get there.
Those with the most money win, and because stupid people don’t get rich you must trust every word they say. Even if they can barely string together a coherent sentence.
Oh wait, what’s that? Tesla now have an American government contract to build armoured vehicles?
Elon is doing it for the people, he’s great for the country, support him or you hate the USA. USA USA USA.

Re: Elon Musk/Tesla
The hilarious irony to me is that Musk has convinced the public that immigrants are a major problem and are contributing to a decline in living standards.
While he, an illegal immigrant, has literally infiltrated the government and is illegally tearing it up from the inside in his pursuit to create an oligarchy and amass unprecedented power and wealth.
But your average MAGA supporter is fine with that.
I suppose Musk is sort of right, there is one immigrant in particular who WILL contribute to a decline in living standards.

But he backtracked AFTER the election was won. Saying they needed skilled workers (because they're easily exploitable and their residency was dependent on the visa).
Re: Elon Musk/Tesla
Even Elon gets caught out by going “they aren’t talking about the thing I like” when MAGA was saying immigration bad.
He didn’t think they also meant H1B visas as they’re a foundational part of his business model.

As with all things MAGA touches, every token thinks they're 'the good ones' (see, Gays for Trump, Latinos for Trump, etc) right up until it's decided they're not, and their token gets spent.
The assumption that Musk/Trump actually believe anyone other than themselves as being worth anything is the problem. White billionaires are the only people they care about the wellbeing of. Anyone else is disposable.

Re: Elon Musk/Tesla
Yep!
Considering that we appear to be only one election cycle behind the yanks, one could tentatively assume that Reform will form the next government (god help us).
Tice/Farage campaign on the same genda as the Trump admin. Anti immigration and anti-woke, etc. In that it is these issues that are causing the decline of the UK and the collective west, NOT billionaire oligarchs, low wages, the selling off of our critical infrastructure, incompetent politicians, etc, etc.
So once they have banished immigrants and banned trans people, and living standards actually get worse, who will they blame then?
Reform want to turn us into a USA style capatilist hellscape, where the notion of paying taxes for an NHS and libraries is straight up communism..

Re: Elon Musk/Tesla
It’s very easy to avoid that tbh, they’re still a tiny party full of fringe politicians. If we ignore the press boosting them as the bullshit it is then they’l fizzle out.

Yeah, I have been suspicious of the poll numbers but I am still surprised at how much traction they've got. Hopefully it does fizzle out.
