Cyclist obviously swerved into the BMW
Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
Pedestrian walked against a red signal. 100% on the pedestrian this time.
Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
It's great that these changes to the Highway Code have been so well thought out and publicised.
Loads of people responding (to Mr Vile's video) cite that the pedestrian has priority - as they are the most vulnerable road user - and that despite it being a lights-controlled junction - the moment the pedestrian moves into the road, whether their light is red or green : they have priority and the driver should yield. I obviously don't advocate blindly driving over somebody in this situation, but that logic is stoopid....

I'm surprised Jermy Vein wasn't hunched over a furiously speeding fist.
Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
Yep; the first one
I do like "You have been deducted one Jeremy for not knowing that and two more for the actual offence. Anymore and you'll have to buy a bike." though

The argument feels like the meat vs vegan one, it’s highly entrenched on both sides with some classic British arrogance.

The title doesn't help eitherGavster wrote: Sun Apr 02, 2023 8:42 am The argument feels like the meat vs vegan one, it’s highly entrenched on both sides with some classic British arrogance.
It seems like a part 1, with part 2 going more in depth with things like the work done in Leicester - I'm interested in what they've done but have no desire to go there - and looking at ways to improve where we are. As it is, it could have had the strap line "Raising awareness" or "Jus' sayin'"; Panorama used to be better than that (I thought, maybe I'm wrong?). I could have done without seeing (or hearing) Michaelingpsyche. It should have come with a sign off from Nick Ross.
