McLaren have pulled out of the Aus GP. A crew member has tested positive for Covid-19.

We run a lot of events / workshops for our clients and this morning were told that we should turn these into digital events until the end of April at least. We were also told that everyone in the organisation (300+ people) are to work from home on Monday as a trial run.

I thought we were running low on bog roll, but thankfully found a 9 pack under the stairs so no need to scour the shops for a pack. It will be interesting to see how barren the shelves are when we go for our weekly shop at the weekend!

Same round here none anywhere according to the MiL who needed some yesterday.

Just ordered these: edit - amazon link not working but suffice to say that amazon sellers have a lot in bulk buy at reasonable prices.

Don't need 60 of the things but they'll get used eventually and they're a good price so we can store them for a few weeks.

We are OK for a few days but shopping day was tomorrow (wife resisted last week and did a totally normal shop) and I doubt they'll be anything left.

You can't make money without having stock, Mito.

This is pretty elementary economics.

Well despite looking I cannot see anything to confirm it at all. She must have misheard, so stand that down for now.

GF works in a school in Oxfordshire and has been told, off the record, prepare for a shutdown.

But Boris has just announced schools will NOT be shutdown. So who the fuck knows..

I was just in tesco buying milk, completely out of bogroll and anything remotely hand-washy. Mental.

Looks like amazon is out of hand gel too ffs...

😮 now we really are fucked.

Tesco in Bicester earlier, no toilet roll, hand wash, pasta etc etc.

Just spoke to parents in North Notts, there’s plenty of all the above everywhere you go *shrug*

Odd isn’t it. Social distancing is the only solution we have that seems to reduce infection but are they going to wait till the hospitals get overwhelmed?
