Totally. Seen it before but love that symphony of 'oh my god....' followed by the absolute roar of the engines. Incredible.
I was at Biggin Hill for this:
I remember there was some talk on the tannoy after that display that the Vulcan had done some damage to the runway. Not really a surprise with it's steep AOA.

When I were a lad we used to visit Finningley air show every year. Part way through the day there would be a tannoy announcement of SCRAMBLE SCRAMBLE SCRAMBLE and four Vulcans would launch in a mass of smoke and immense noise. I can still remember the ground shaking along with every cell in your body, awesome!

I remember you saying about this before John and I'm still very jealous!
I saw it in the '92 display year as well Simon, aged 12 Incredible that it got to fly again.

Very lucky to be around for the airshows of the 70s and 80s. The downside of the era was that we were aware that we could all be turned to carbon by those damn Ruskies.

My other half was the same. Grew up in sight of Mildenhall. At least it would have been quick.

That low pass will have been deafening
I took a video at Southport air show a few years back, the stealthy approach was nearly as impressive as the rest of it
