Neither but I do remember a proliferation of 2 seat F1 cars some years ago. IIRC it was £40 for one lap when I was at Silverstone probably close to 10 years ago on a non F1 weekend!

It's....really bad isn't it?
Particularly when you see him pull out BMW engines and they look pretty clean and carefully routed, wiring and plumbing wise - even the Sxx engines
Yep. It was horrific enough to watch the first time when he did the variators.
I mean I know we all laugh about BMWs leaking, but by and large that's just aged seals.
Apt timing - from today's Autocar. It's the headline which is the important bit.

Hopefully the Maserati V8 didn't share much with the Ferrari one!
Don't watch it all these much these days but Hoovie bought a Maserati Ghibli V6 (at least I think, shows how much I pay attention to Maserati these days) and that seemed like an even bigger POS even by his standards. Got 3 replacement engines from a breaker and they all had issues. The cars are all being scrapped at pretty low mileages due to terminal engine failures!

Isn't half the problem that the engines are designed to be mid-mounted thus them being the wrong way round when mounted in the front? Doesn't address the rest of the mess obviously, but certainly doesn't help.

I believe they do share a lot as does Matty's Alfa. They all have 86.5mm pistons with variations of stroke but all circa 2.9l and a V6 with a turbo on each bank. They are even assembled by Ferrari.
I assumed the difference was the Alfa/Ferraris would have oil changes every few thousand miles and at least annually where lots of these Masers seem to be lucky if they've had a couple of oil changes in 100k miles lol

What happened to Hoovie's Maserati Levante that hadn't had an oil change in 60k miles? IIRC that kept working OK but I don't remember seeing him get rid so maybe it all went wrong.

Ferraris are dry sumped and I think forged rods and crank. I'd imagine there are quite a few more differences.

The Alfa V6 appears to be a Ferrari V8 with 2 cylinders missing. The Maserati V6 has a different bank angle so I presume it's not very similar at all.

Didn’t he sell it off in one of his recent clear outs?

Absolutely wonderful to see epic revs making a return. How many gazzilionaires have already put down deposits for the RWD superspecial coming in.... *finger in the air* 2028?

I've said it before but with Lamborghini you really don't want to rush to buy the new model because they're going to do so many special versions which will be even greater.

And yet - it sounded pretty meh to me. Flat plane crank v8 sounds nothing like as exciting as a V12 pulling 10krpm.

The influencers buying a Revuelto to replace late special edition Aventadors seem to be realising this
