To be honest the whole design of that one looks a mess - not just the nose wart. I really dislike even the wheels which look like a terrible 80s pastiche.
Directional alloy wheels always look wrong!
Yeah wheels are wrong...
But damn it looks good side on... Wibble...

A red Metro 6R4 being towed by an LDV van of a similar period. Also an Integrale in Martini livery.

Popped into a local cars and coffee thing on Sunday morning as we happened to be passing.
First one I’ve been to and as I pull up there’s an estoril blue e53 there
Turns out it’s a 4.6is, in estoril, no side steps, black leather, piano black (ie not wood) trim. He’s not had it long, first meet he’d been to in it too.

M6GC at the Indy today, and E46 M3.
Then someone rocked up in an E30 M3 with a right old list of jobs to be done!

Talking of old ///M spots, saw this on Sunday. It was absolutely spotless. I've never been a big e39 fan, but this it the perfect colour combo and I've always liked the wheel design.

Always thought they were quite cool, but never really had a huge want for one. Was always more of a three series person than a 5, and they were barely any quicker than the e36 or e46 m3.
Pretty sure they had the same recirculating ball steering as the other v8s and not the rack and pinion of the 6pots, I’m assuming for packaging reasons.
Suffered (similar to the e36) from looking too similar to boring engined sport versions at a glance too, and being dragged down by all the scruffy ones.
I’d happily have one these days though, in the right colour. Although I think I’d rather have the engine put in my x5

same with me - I like wide arches and smaller cars with 2 doors.

It’s one of the better 550 replicas I’ve seen.

No Pics but a pearler 1930 Model A Ford down near Bournemouth last Saturday. I got chatting to the owner - lovely fella. He has two, the 4 seater I saw which was fully restored and also a 2 seat coupe which he has not restored the exterior at all on but he has completely sealed it so it's now frozen in time as a 90 year old car that will never age.

Its OK but as often the case with these things the details give it away pretty badly.
Lights are all sorts of wrong, wheels are wrong, screen is wrong and the plates aren't event classic plates. A bit more effort with the lights, wheels and plates and it would be a lot more believable.
Proper looking Hella 356 lights are available online for £200 a pop so some of it is just bone idleness.

I wonder how much work it would be to put a Subaru flat four in one of those. I guess plumbing a cooling system would be the biggest challenge.

Ooh, I saw a lovely Model A on Martha's Vineyard - a drop-top with dickey seat rather than the picnic box and in a different colour but something like this:
Not just parked up, either - driving through Oak Bluffs, making everything else look utterly inadequate or inappropriate. The perfect setting for it.

Hoovie did this - I think the gearbox then had an issue, which he fixed and then the car seemed to disappear quite quickly (though I guess that's the case with a lot of his stuff (and now sadly, most of it to fund what people expect is his divorce)).

Yesterday I spotted an electric blue Rolls Royce Corniche parked next to a Nissan Pao, the Pao was getting the most photos taken
