With signs of spring, a 2zz mr2 is very tempting.

Any Toyota is sensible, right?

its been up for sale for a long time, not sure what that necessarily means. It is quite appealing though!

Normally I’m of the opinion that roofless supercars are a pointless thing, but this I would quite happily have, maybe not in the uk though

The driver looks like a child sitting on a cushion - too car is too big and the waistline too high to carry that look off IMHO

The rear 3/4, sans driver, is definitely its best angle.

For me (as a non-BMW person) this is one of the few BMW's I'd love to own but never will (alongside the Z3MC). IIRC the 850 was cripplingly expensive to run, so presenting the (apparently?) more sensible 840 8-) Pop up lights will always be CAF 8-)

Problem with 'em is that a lot of parts just....aren't made any more. Including things like fuel pumps. Which is a problem on a knocking on 30-40 year old car.

Yes, they are just about in budget too for purchase, but christ, not for running costs....

Bean's thread got me looking at Caymans. I wonder what's wrong with this: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202408223172033

Get it inspected, bore scoped etc, then enjoy that bizarre flash of red in the interior and handling the wooden knob? (oo-er)
