I didn’t get this either. Surely selling a car less than a year after you bought it brand new is DIW in the extreme.

Absolutely. And to complain at depreciation and then to actually crystalise that depreciation by SELLING is crazy. If he'd kept it for 3-4 years that depreciation would've looked much better spread out over that time, especially as the curve looked like it flattens a lot.

It's strange one indeed. In the original vid where he talked about why he got rid of the Emira and replaced it with the McLaren, he said it was because he wasn't sure about the direction Lotus are going in as a car manufacturer. Now he's saying it's because of depreciation. Something doesn't add up

I think he managed parallel head and heart arguments with himself for getting rid of it once he'd fallen out of love.

He's "man-psyched" his way into a McLaren, who are we to judge

Yes, and I liked it so much I said I’d buy one. Though I didn’t 😄

That’s Lotus’s problem isn’t it; lack of follow through 😉😁 Seriously, everyone loves them but then buys something else 🤷

Also yes, and I liked it but it felt very Evora-esque. Too much to justify the price to change (for me).

Several people on here own or have previously owned a Lotus, hence I believe your above assertion to be <checks> potentially flawed. :)

It’s one of his local farmer mates drone shows.

You use Twitter Beany, I’m sure you can cope with the odd Instagram photo /video without needing mind bleach.

I actually don't use twitter - I'll see an interesting tweet somewhere, and swap the domain out for nitter.poast.org and check the replies through that.

Then I carry on with my life and don't think about twitter at all

I didn’t think the engine looked particularly far back compared to the struts/ axel line tbh, it’s just got a long nose and a lot of space in front of it!

Still, sounds like they’ve done a decent job with the chassis setup for actual road use.

Car manufacturers still haven't come up with a pleasing way of integrating these huge displays into the dash/center console, have they? The one in that Maser is awful!

That doesn’t look very different to the Gran Turismo which Harry bought years ago. I assume it’s an entirely new car but just styled to look similar. It has appeal, as a £60k 2+2 GT but not at the money they are asking.
