that comes with the wrong engine fitted because it's a replica.
Replica Based on 1.6Lx
Where does it say that?
You're right though, it's no Ghia badged as an XR.

As I recall the differences between the Ghia and XR4x4 basically came down to seats, detail suspension setup and badges. Put some painters tape over the XR on the badges and it's basically accurate.
Ford owner
correctness.
That Cavalier is literally a near-base LX that's had some stickers and seats thrown at it, doesn't run right, and doesn't have even the right engine for how it's described - they state that it comes with a 1.8 in it, that it's based on a 1.6, and that they'll kindly supply a 2.0 EFI engine with it. Which they don't state whether or not is a runner
Vauxhall owner
shame.
Thus as it has always been, and always will be.
(the description might be hard to find on mobile because it's literally thirty lines, most of which are two or three words, because the seller, who took it in as PX - is apparently incapable of writing in full sentences. But then they are willingly in possession of a Vauxhall of their own volition, so that's not a shock.)

I can't see any description on pc

IIrc LX came with Recaros & bits, much like later SXis.
You can't say that Sierra is less iffy, it is the same seller after all.

The paint colour for those alloys is "Andrex".
Also "
The car is sitting on 24inches alloy wheels. This car is a proper neck breaker".
Wot?

It looks like a really clean car inside too
Apparently retrofitting the facelift rear lights is an expensive exercise too. Location of seller is all the explanation needed...
ETA - just seen it has pink brake calipers and the wheels are so dished the wheel weights are on the outside
I agree with the number plate thought - it's definitely a "no to own" to me

To be fair at least it's only a wrap. That's no more than a days job to pull off, remove the pimp tints, remove wheels, paint callipers silver and stick some OEM wheels on. Then again you might pull off the wrap and find a mess underneath...
By the way, have Autotrader removed the feature that compares the price of the car you're looking at with others with similar mileage and also I can't find the price history anymore?

It’s just a day to remove the wrap, find all the Stanley blade cuts in the paint from the dodgy wrapper and then weep as the silicon holding all the trim parts on is found as the clips are broken.

would he have to fix the suspension too?

I'm not sure it fits his MO. MINI aside the interior volume of the A2 is less than the engine displacement of his other cars.

Quite possibly, with the added bonus that the dampers are 1.2 tdi specific aluminium bodied jobs. Yes, you can fit normal steel bodied ones from other models (though the fronts are a different fitment to other A2s, and the damping rates will be different), but where's the fun in that?
