The T50s look a lot better in a colour that isn’t all black. the lighter colours actually make them look quite nice.

I’ll take them all! (Even the Golf)
Still hard to beat an F40. I do like the T50s, mainly for the driving position and that drivetrain. SP3 looked cool and I'm very fond of LFAs too. So that would be my top 4. The classic at then end also of course lovely (250 SWB?).

Some quantity of carbon fibre was scraped in that video. Ouch.

Lovely. Maybe not quite 350k lovely, but guess it’ll always be an expensive one

Apart from the freakshow appeal of having multiples of cars like the Regera in one place, it doesn’t really appeal tbh.

Saw a Mitsubishi Delica the other day, more rare and more interesting to me than most of that stuff

There were a few more changes than that, but the unique stuff like the wheels and rear spoiler quickly became available on normal 911s. So you'd have to really want that special edition to pay so much for it.

Have i8s suddenly got cheaper ? I always quite fancied one.
Nah, you could get them for 30k odd years ago. They definitely looked like a lot of flash for not a lot of cash, but seemed to hover around the same point for a long while.
I like them

I had £40k in mind. I'm clearly living in the past
Part of the original want was to cross "3 cylinder engine" off my list but then I bought a Smart which served the same purpose.

They are cool. I read somewhere that there are some inherent issues which may not make it a no-brainer purchase but I can't find them by googling so it may just be scare stories.
Have you ever owned a car with dihedral doors? The Smart will not have ticked that box.

I've seen that before. It's the second "clonk" that always gets me.
The TH vids on the whole are usually pretty good, one of the few I can actually watch.

I like them but I can’t figure out what they’re for. Not fast enough to be a sports car really and a bit inconvenient and expensive for a town/station car.
I guess if you already have a garage full of millennial sports cars it would make a nice addition

They’re just an every day car with a bit of drama. I had M3s & M2 as my daily drivers - an i8 would have quite happily fitted the bill too with the added benefit of electric power for the daily traffic jam commute.

Oh, I’m not saying I wouldn’t use one as a daily. Pretty much any other EV would make more sense though, it’s a bit too supercar in it’s practicality levels to be actually useful.
At 6’4” with a 42 year old back, getting in and out would start to get grating
