Just because you are a character doesn’t mean you have character.

Yeah, really pleased! I couldn’t save the engine cover, though, that’s going to need a respray or replacement at some point. I think the previous owner tried to wet sand it.speedingfine wrote: Fri Jul 12, 2019 9:26 pmLooks good Rev! Pleased?NotoriousREV wrote: Fri Jul 12, 2019 9:12 pm Fuck me, that was a long day.

I’ll have a go at the interior soon, but I now remember why I don’t do this very often.

Re: New Car
Panel gaps are all fine. It’s had paint in a couple of places (badly in one area), there’s a lot of stone chips (it’s 20 years old after all), a few nicks and scratches, the engine cover is fucked, and there’s the scar on the back bumper that’s starting to flake.nuttinnew wrote: Fri Jul 12, 2019 9:59 pm Good work![]()

Re: eBay 996 build thread
Tried and failed to adjust the handbrake. I can’t find the adjuster in the drum when looking through the holes. What I can see doesn’t look like the pictures say it should be at all. I need to get the disc/drum off but I don’t have an impact driver to get the grub screw out.
Oh, and the coilovers are BC Racing BR Series intended for a 996 Turbo.

You can never see anything - it’s all done by feel.
Imagine a cog with the gear teeth facing you. Stick a small flat blade in the home and lever it up/ down (not sure which tightens) to index the gear round. Remove and insert screwdriver again and repeat. You can’t see fook hall.
