This

I like it though, the price seems competitively normal to me in the current climate.

The black looks a lot like the black on my old E46 M3. Basically very dark blue.

Love it - the noise, the slight rubbishness, the fact they totally forgot to include a boot in a front-engined car

Oh - worth 20k, tops. Ping me when the correction has happened.

I quite like the black paint but it would still have to be red if I had one.

Harry's vid reminded me of the reviews not being all that complimentary about the way it drove. I can see it being a car which someone buys to look at rather than drive. The single-clutch gearbox didn't seem to be particularly nasty though; I had wondered whether now dual-clutch boxes were so common that the era of single-clutch cars may be somewhat unloved as classics, but I think they have an appeal of their own now.

Nothing justifies over £200k, mind you. Despite how utterly gorgeous they still look.

Interesting point. I always thought it would be the opposite - they were never loved even when they were new and advancements in other (better) technologies can only make them seem worse.

I always thought they would become unloved, as I said - but I can see the appeal in the 8C. The way it changes gear seems quite appropriate.

Let me know when M3 CSLs are £10k, anyway :D

Sooner than the clutch needs replacing on an E60 M5?

Classic Italian engineering, I can imagine the conversation.

The Transaxle takes up all the space where the boot should be, should we redesign or something?

No it looks really good and it's lunchtime, just hinge the glass and that'll do.

I've been saying for 15 years. I should probably have been buying cars. Like the Daily Express and the "worst winter in 50 years" headlines, if I keep saying it, I'll be right eventually.

Think having no boot was a good decision for it too, no extra unsightly shut lines so it stayed true to the concept - it’s not like the target market actually wanted a practical GT they could drive across Europe and rack up the miles.

4C also looks all the better for having no frunk.

Aventador in awesome SE30 Purple and Harry's lovely, now undespoiledered Countach.

I remember being entranced by David Vivian's review of the Diablo SE30 in Performance Car and that shade of Purple is the best on big special Lambos.

Every time I see an Aventador S I get the urge to get an angle grinder on the bloody fangs in the front bumper.

So Harry has had the Countach wheels refurbed in light gold. Optional finish back in the day, but..... I think I prefer teh silvers.

Let’s argue over this pointlessly.

I want that Aventador far more than is decent for an inanimate object.

Gold wheels on a red countach, yes please.

Looks like the fire engine red picture I had as a child 8-)
