I was questioning the £210 bid...ZedLeg wrote: Fri Jan 11, 2019 3:15 pm I never said it was, I presume that's where it was when the obviously bullshit bids started.

Take multiple deposits from mugs, and do a runner..JLv3.0 wrote: Fri Jan 11, 2019 1:36 pm I really wish I understood things like this. No-one's ever going to pay that much for that awful piece of shit no matter how much his kna'a'mean'innit brothers* artificially jack the price up.

We have an odd thing in Dubai where the local untermenschen post up fictional cars or bikes for sale with crazily low prices, like a BMW HP4 Race for 5k or something. What's their endgame? I don't get it.

I had one of those bollocks mock interviews the schools used to run at a Renault dealership. The bloke picked us up in a top spec Safrane, I think it was a champagne type colour. I was mightily impressed, what luxury! He did a couple of ballsy overtakes which the V6 managed with ease.
Can’t remember the last time I saw one. Probably seen more Vel Satis and Avantimes around than I have Safranes.

I used to work for a company that provided IT services to other companies. The bloke in charge at one of our customers had a Safrane as his company car because “it’s better than any of that German rubbish”. He was an insufferable cunt.

My 1977 Polo is that colour. If only it was in that condition

Re: The ebay thread
I love the A2. It was 15 years ahead of its time from a design and construction perspective. And it was also leaps and bounds better than the Mk1 A Class with which it competed.nuttinnew wrote: Fri Jan 18, 2019 9:16 pm
