The bad guys are raping and pillaging the country (and the world for that matter) for their own benefit and there’s far too many Americans whooping cheering and thanking them for doing it

Latest tariff news. Imports from China to be subject to a $200 charge per package from 1st June. $10 order from aliexpress ? That’ll be costing you $210.
increase the per postal item containing goods duty in section 2(c)(ii) of Executive Order 14256, as modified by the Executive Order dated April 8, 2025, that is in effect on or after 12:01 a.m. eastern daylight time on June 1, 2025, from 150 dollars to 200 dollars.
It was zero. It’s gone 0-50-150-200 in the last few days. 8th April in the quote was when to went to 150. 9th April is the updated order raising it to 200.

Did Trump hate China so much before COVID, when he kept calling in the "Chi-na Virus"?

After seeing a few things regarding Temu, I’m for this as the slave trade is much worse than I naively thought.
I think we need to change the definition of bombshell.

It's worth reading about the backstory of Peter Navarro in this respect...

How y'all doing?
Back from the US. Had a wonderful time. Quickest time ever through customs and lots of Americans being very apologetic about Trump and cursing the millions of people who didn't vote.
The news made for very interesting reading/watching each day with the tariffs stuff. And as for the stock market...

Wonder if you’d have had the same experience if you were black or Asian

I'd imagine as TSA staff probably have had the same "WE MIGHT FIRE YOU, YOU LAZY CIVIL SERVANT SCUM" emails as everyone else, they just don't give a fuck.

Possibly - not all TSA are white, after all - but with a MacAccent?

And… they’ve already backed down on tariffs on phones & computers. LOL.

I mean, several major manufacturers - Acer, Asus, Lenovo, Dell, HP, Razer - suspended deliveries on their products in the US
...and FrameWork (Tiawan supply mostly) dropped pre-orders on their new convertible laptop in the US specifically, as well as some of their cheaper models, because even with the lower tariffs on Taiwan, they'd be making a loss.
I read an article earlier that there's no-one in the ports actually collecting these new insane tariffs, thanks to a 'bug in the system'. USA is so fucked.

Exemptions on the necessities - phones & computers. No exemptions for vulgar frivolities like basic clothing and medicine. Cool.

Hilarious isn’t it, i kind of want China to say fuck you, it’s all or nothing.
(terrifying that China, with its woeful human rights etc is the “good” guy here….)
