OTOH, on the properly ludicrous end of the scale
You appear to have located an option for which even the word ludicrous isn't quite sufficient.....
PARTY BUS

OTOH, on the properly ludicrous end of the scale, and fitting into Gavster's "
what happens if we give Steve a box of wine & £5k" channel, there's this:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/326269333958
Waaay north beyond Inverness and a 10h+ drive home but that will make for a
hilariously disastrous road trip video.
My wife is no help, she just keeps shouting "
PARTY BUS !!!!".
Could you remove a bit at the back and have a ramp to drive the compact onto it and convert the rest into a really funky camper?

I've been looking for pics of something like that, e.g. a full length Excursion with a full length flatbed on the rear - I assume he'll want to collect a Viano at some point
It's easy to get sidetracked...
I don't know why that isn't showing but it does open in a new tab.

Just tell her she'll be driving it back, and watch her enthusiasm collapse.
