Some rich guy will probably buy it to sit in a shed and show off though, like a Spectre Defender.
I think that's mostly what the one on Collecting Cars has done - did you watch the vid (with bonus sneezes, sniffs and snorts)? It's spotless.

Exactly. I get unreasonably angry about vehicles like this.

It's a working vehicle designed to do a job. A pimped-up spotlessly clean one is stupid. It'll get driven around Knightsbridge for an afternoon because OMG ITS SO COOL and then sit in a shed because it's actually a total PITA to drive. Then get sold to another collector.

And repeat.

Meh, I think there's always room for pampered garage queens - whether it's super cars, classics or misused and pimped up commercial vehicles, at least theyll survive.

There's plenty of others having a hard life dragging trees out of far flung forests or wading through swamps that we'll never see and will end up rusting away to nothing in the back of a farmers barn.

That looks like it should be a good base for a mad overlanding rig. But it'll be too expensive to be turned into one.

Yeah, I don't get too bent out of shape about folk keeping stuff. It's their stuff and money.

I'd rather have something a bit more honest though, like this.

That, I like. Even if it's not used it's honest. It's not pretending to be something it's not.

I hope the gearing is ok with those tyres, they're 20% larger diameter than the standard size, and 16% larger than the Brabus 18s.
I hope the light bar can be offed easily and cleanly also. Apart from that, :D 8-)

If I saw a Primera GT with the purple to green chromaflair paint I’d have it.

for when the unimog is a bit subtle

No 😄 And it’d be too big for most green lanes. Ferry to Scandinavia?

£57.5k with only 5hrs to go. I suspect he’s panicking a bit at that (no reserve)

I love unimogs, but honestly think it looks shite. I’m sure he’ll be absolutely gutted to learn of this.

£91,500. The more I saw it, the less I liked it.

Hopefully he’s not the one who spent £133k upgrading it. After inflation and whatever the original vehicle must have cost that’s quite a drop in value.
