I suppose the question will have an answer in 4 years time, either he’ll be hung up to dry or he’ll have Putined his way back into power

I don’t think we’ll find out. All their politicians are at it, I guess it’s a perk of the job. Pelosi is quite famous for it.

Didn't Mandela say education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world? Unfortunately America is filled with morons who have changed the world for the worse. I guess that's what decades of having a diet filled with literal chemicals and all sorts of other shit does to the human body.
They genuinely think Trump's tariffs are a redistribution of wealth back to the working class. I don't see how working in a sweat shop (other shite low wage manual labour jobs are available) for minimum wage, is a redistribution of wealth. If anything, wealth is being further redistributed from the working class to the wealthy as demonstrated by the market manipulation above. And they're so fucking stupid they don't see it.

Mandela was right, which is why it's been a Republican party platform for the last fifty years to gut the education system.
Looks like with a bit of help from heavily manipulated social media, it finally worked.

This is the real threat.. question is - which is worse; Trump’s USA or Communist China? I don’t think there’s a clear winner any more

Latest tariff news. Imports from China to be subject to a $200 charge
per package from 1st June. $10 order from aliexpress ? That’ll be costing you $210.
Obviously aimed at Temu, to help Amazon.

MAGA - why by definition, are almost always low paid and lacking in standards - loves Temu. This is gonna go well.

Looks like it was already $150 per package...
increase the per postal item containing goods duty in section 2(c)(ii) of Executive Order 14256, as modified by the Executive Order dated April 8, 2025, that is in effect on or after 12:01 a.m. eastern daylight time on June 1, 2025, from 150 dollars to 200 dollars.

I think there was an exception for under a certain amount ($1000 or $500 or similar to allow cheap stuff through) otherwise Temu etc literally wouldn't have been feasible in the US.
I've not looked into it in detail but I think that 'lower limit' might be removed too - so now a $15 bit of tat from Temu would now be $245 or so when all totted up.

The importer is the person responsible for paying the tariffs, and Temu orders don’t go through a separate company, therefore the person is the importer, I really hope maga keeps ordering from Temu, with the delusion that they’re doing their bit costing the Chinese government tariff fees. Then Temu charge them their $20 for their baskets of sweatshop chic, and then maga gets a $300 bill before it can be delivered just to let them know that it’s not china paying it
