Teh Spotted Thread
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Just found a PH thread which says there's one in the country. The owner reckons two. It didn't have a registration plate on it at all; I asked him if it was registered and he said it was, but that could still be in France.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
V. interesting spot, and to have a chat with the owner as well
The only problem now is spotting something rarer.
Coincidentally, I've been nosing at these https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citro%C3% ... e_1985.jpg to find out if my memory of seeing two over here - one red, one silver (one of which Istr was GTI, erring more on the silver one) - is/was correct.

M4 on dealer plates, doing 150+ mph on the M20. Someone is having quite a spirited test drive.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
That supra looks great - I expect some of the kit might be a little OTT, but the stance looks perfect.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I guess so yes - steels made for a chunky 4x4 that will potentially actually be used off-road. I was too busy wowzing at the visuals.
Owner notes that the rears are running spacers "for the shoot" and that smaller ones went on afterwards. Not sure if this is sneaky to make car look better, or just a fib as they are slightly illegal....

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Steelies are often lighter than ‘light’ alloy wheels strangely enough.
Cheers, Harry
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I will go against the grain and say that in my opinion the whole thing looks like shit. It’s what I expect 20 year olds to drive round a chav meet at McDonald’s carpark. Quad exhausts, shit wing, wheels off a random suv
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Spotted today: Mr Wig. You might wonder how I knew who it was, but fortunately he has his car emblazoned with logos for his YouTube channel. Oh yes.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Honda N Box Custom at the supermarket.
(I bet they don't moan about the size of parking spaces)

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Sliding doors are going to be useful to climb in when parked that badly
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Could be a Japanese driver??
Isn’t that how you park in Japan - aligned to the right hand edge of the space??

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Really? So the driver's door, which is the only one guaranteed to be opened, is right on the white line? Odd. Maybe they should take advice from Broccers.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
It sounds very Japanese - being super courteous to the car parked to the left. As long as everyone does it, it works.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Yeah, if everyone aligns to the right side of each space, then everyone gets the maximum amount of space to exit and enter their vehicle, regardless of the size of the vehicles in adjacent spaces.
It seems like a super efficient Japanese way to do things - however, I don't think its a thing as a quick google search doesn't mention it and in fact reverse in parking is the norm.

Yeah, I call bullshit.

I bet they all get their tape measures out.
