Needless to say, after 6 Porsches over the last 20 years, I have to agree.

I reckon you might do well to enjoy it for what it is, pop an exhaust on treat it as a rolling restoration. I was getting impatient and considered paying someone to collect and deliver the Camaro for me until I got a few quotes. I think the cheapest was £325. The train fare to go and get it myself once the lockdown is lifted is only £99 and I can probably arrange it that I go to the office in London, and therefore only have to pay the London to Brighton part of the fare.

That’ll be a long day out Don’t do it on a Friday unless you’re willing to hotel it and travel back on the Saturday, sitting in an older, unknown car in traffic on a Friday night is a big gamble.

Where’s your sense of adventure?!

Can it not be classed as essential somehow? Will be a much nicer trip with reduced traffic

that sounds realistic, transport for the BMW was about £140 to get it from Lichfield to Leeds and that's only 100 miles.
