I don’t know, I said that the cyclist had right of way over the taxi coming out of the side street and they vehemently disagreed.

Maybe they think I meant what you said.

Mr Vine seems to have jumped the shark today in terms of looking for fake outrage. Literally he's done nothing here other than not slow to avoid an upcoming, clear hazard.

Cheers,

Mike.

The vine video above lead me to this one.

Which initially looks horrid but on the second watch the cyclist brake checks the car. I'm not sure how he thought that was going to play out. Regardless of fault that was an outstandingly stoopid thing to do.

I don’t think that’s in any way mitigation for the driver ramming the cyclist while hitting the cones.

Agreed but why would you brake check a car that was following close?

Because he’s a cyclist and can’t exactly speed up?

Not making any call on whether he did, but actually braking is pretty different to not speeding up. Bikes coast rather well.

I got a warning today from Warwickshire police due to a video from a pound shop Jeremy Vine. I'm really respectful of cyclist and give them plenty of room so this has pissed me off! It was a residential street and I must have been doing all of 15mph past him. I'd waited behind until there was time and space to pass too.

The image sent by the Police was of such poor quality that you can barely make out my car or the road. It made Beany seem like David Bailey 😂

One does not simply drive past a cyclist. One must first stop, roll out a red carpet, engage in fellatio, swallow, and only then can you pass.
How about not having a sig at all?
