I’ve always said I’d prefer to slide rearwards than understeer off the road. Not sure if the driver now shares this sentiment 😂

You can still understeer with RWD. Just ask Rich Porter! It's all about geometry etc (all things being equal, with no power being applied)

Yeah, understeer is horrible. Oversteer always feels like you have more options to fix it.

It was driving through town.

No idea on what they would use it for as it must be close to 3.5 tons with the 5th wheel on the back.

Aha excellent detective work 😎

It seems such a strange vehicle to convert when there must have been far better standard vehicles knocking about.

Dave!

I remembered seeing one a while back on an ex mod sales list but didn’t look into its specific use at the time. I believe they used these because of the stating size- they were already equipped with all the off road tech, and air suspension, as they were also upgraded to air brakes so was probably one less thing to develop

No pic but "RAN63R" on a Ford Ranger.

Edit - and they're on facebook.

This evo wagon sounded like a full on rally car popping and banging and stunk of unburnt petrol:

Fucking love that. For many years I thought the Spider was the best looking car in existence. Most cars look unfinished without bumpers but the 124 Spider is just gorgeous.

Odd duck of the year award. Guesses as to what it is without searching the plate on DVLA...

It's a Genesis of some sort - is a G80 the right name?

I think that’s right! Though all the models looks the same barring size so quite confusing.

DVLA doesn’t state the model but apparently powered by electrickery and weighs the same as a Range Rover!

G80, I wasn't aware they made an EV version of it. The regular one must have spectacular depreciation though.

“GENESIS G80E LUXURY AWD (2022)”

There’s one that parks round the corner from me. It doesn’t look too bad. They’ve obviously nicked a few cues from the CLS.

I recognised the grille and headlight style, remembered the naming convention and thought it must be G90 or G80 because it’s big. Lucky guess 😂

I saw a yellow one in Portsmouth a few months back, the pearlescent yellow they used on the ZRs. I can't remember what colour the rails, mirrors, or wheels were to know if it's the same one. It wasn't there when I went back a few days later :(
