I don’t know anyone who’s had it, but friends know people who have, some of them haven’t made it.

Re: Coronavirus
3 who’ve had it, none went to hospital. I know of a person who has died, a clients elderly father.
Re: Coronavirus
I know 2 others who've had it, the guy I mentioned before who was very ill and our next door neighbour who looked pretty rough but she's in Extinction Rebellion and generally looks rough.
Re: Coronavirus
Two who almost certainly had it, neither of whom went to hospital.

One who had it and was in hospital for 5 days. One who almost certainly had it but didn't go to hospital or get tested.
Cheers, Harry
Re: Coronavirus
One who definitely had it and went to hospital, but it was shut.
Re: Coronavirus
No, I'd say it biased to people in the 30 - 40 bracket buying here to get their kids into the school. One guy who died was in his 70s and had had a massive Stoke about 18 months ago so didn't have much chance to start with, the other 2 were women in their 40s with no underlying health conditions.jamcg wrote: Wed Apr 29, 2020 12:53 am What’s the age demographic in saltburn zonda? Is it biased towards an aging population?

I don't know anyone who's had it.
I may have had it, as I was pretty ill, to the point of been taken to hospital by ambulance when I got back from Texas in February.
I told the paramedics everything over the phone, when they came they made some phone calls to see how to deal with me as I'd been to 6 airports within 3 weeks, had 4 lots of blood tests at hospital and an ECG, but no one said either way if I'd had it or not, but it was very early on in all of this, was about 3rd of Feb.
Felt like shit, no energy, resting heart rate was 120bpm, blood sats 91% when paramedics came.
I had sickness the day before I set off flying back so I thought I had food poisoning.
Was still feeling pretty much the same 3 weeks after being in hospital, i'm still not 100% now, but my heart rates back down to 60 and I have my energy back a bit.

Interesting video on population density, correlation with deaths and the FT's graphs:drcarlos wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 10:51 pmMight go some way to explaining why Spain was hit so hard. Whether this is in general or just the very dense urban centres.GG. wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 10:23 pm
On population density, this article is informative: https://theconversation.com/think-your- ... rope-90345. Basically, country population / area is not all that instructive and you need to look at large conurbations.
The uk is smaller though with 20 million more and we also have some densely packed cities too.
It doesn’t cover France, Italy or Belgium. I may have a look tomorrow for their stats if I get some time.
Re: Coronavirus
Your experience sounds very similar to my uncles experience, who was tested and had it confirmed. Did you loose your taste and smell? That would be a good indicator, obviously still not 100% confirmation16vCento wrote: Wed Apr 29, 2020 11:08 am I don't know anyone who's had it.

Dizziness, never stopped working, a number of us were the same at work pre lockdown, we all probably had it

I don't think I lost any sensation of smell or taste tbh, i was massively out of breath if I walked a short distance and couldn't do a great deal.jamcg wrote: Wed Apr 29, 2020 5:44 pmYour experience sounds very similar to my uncles experience, who was tested and had it confirmed. Replacing the exhaust on my car wiped me out for a day which properly worried me as it was about 4 weeks after I'd been to hospital.
Still I seem to be fine now

My sister-in-law was at the local Sainsbury's petrol station yesterday. There was a lady in front in the queue in a paramedic uniform. When another couple noticed her they said they'd pay for her shopping. The assistant serving then said she'd pay for her petrol. The paramedic lady had a bit of a cry and everyone clapped a bit. Quite a sweet thing for her to witness.
I've spent a lot of the day on the internet trying to track down an authentic paramedic uniform in my size.
