Anyone else watch Friday Night Live? Other than a few low-lights (I never liked Loadsamoney, but Stavros is epic) I thought it was marvellous.
There were a few more lowlights for me. Jo Brand as funny as she ever was. Rosie Jones needs to get some new material as well.
Other than Ben Elton, I thought it was utter dirge. Who was that Aussie comedian? Apparently won an Fringe award....about as funny as cancer.

Ah see I thought he came good in the end. Stavros was good and Elton was also pretty good. The rest was a bit meh. I genuinely don't get what anyone finds funny about Jo Brand. She's only ever had 3 gags and they were shit when she first started 30 odd years ago.
At least Rosie Jones didn't do her Northern joke.

Late to the party with this but F1 - Drive to Survive is the best thing I’ve seen in ages. I had next to zero interest in F1 but I can’t stop watching this. GF watched a couple and is now utterly obsessed with it too.

Gangs of London S2 is out now. If you're missing the blood and guts from GoT, start here! <splat>
Got to end of ep3 last night. It's a bit slow but worth sticking with it for the eye popping gore
Bit further on with this - its a bit meh and nowhere good as the first series which was amazing.
Shame.
Am starting to agree, after the 3rd episode. Bit shark-jumpy I think.

Old Man on Disney+ is brilliant. Jeff Bridges as an old, retired CIA operative who has to come out of retirement for "reasons". Unfortunately I didn't realise it was released weekly so have just run out of episodes to obsessively binge watch.

We're 4 episodes in and really enjoying it. But what's not to enjoy with Bridges and Lithgow??

They're both excellent aren't they? But they always are!

Started on Umbrella Academy S3 last night. Liking it more that S2 so far. On a car nerd front though - 2 Toyota Centuries parked out the front of the hotel that the main characters are based out of. They even take one for a drive. Nice touch. It I always wonder why as surely it's a really niche thing to spot?

Star Trek DS9
Starts high and ends with a wet fart. I could probably binge TNG again but DS9 is never getting revisited again.
6/10 as S3-6 are genuinely pretty good but it really feels like they couldn't work out how to end it.

My guess would be that it has something to do with the hotel oblivion being built as the mirror type thing of the hotel obsidian from the other dimension/timeline. Reginald spoke in Japanese to the architect guy when picking the site for it and it kept it's Japaneseness all through the years and a Century is a good mirror to the RRs from the oblivion.
Another weird Century TV spotting:

I don’t think you’ve ever been more wrong Beany
DS9 is far and away the best Star Trek series.

Oh don't get me wrong, the bulk of the series is very enjoyable.
But the ending. Eesh, you can tell there was financial/time crunch on that.
I tried to watch Babylon 5 on that freevee channel prime has added as I haven't watched it since I was a kid, couldn't deal with the ads though. I'll maybe need to go to CEX and see if I can get the dvds or something

‘Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?’ on Netflix. Don’t google it… don’t even read the summary before you start. Just stick it on and enjoy.
